Help us with reception and cooking in our Lodge in Chimborazo
The experience
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for mountains to join our team at our lodge in Chimborazo. This role involves a variety of tasks including cleaning, welcoming guests, performing maintenance, handling reception duties, and providing information to our clients. Cooking skills are preferred, as they add great value to our guests' experience.

What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements
Fluent English or Intermediate Spanish
Between 23 and 40 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
Be from outside Ecuador
European Union Passport

Program Details
Our lodge, located in the breathtaking Chimborazo region, offers a unique opportunity to work amidst stunning natural beauty and engage with travelers from around the world. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoys the diverse responsibilities that come with maintaining a high-standard lodge environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning: Ensure all areas of the lodge are kept clean and presentable.
Welcoming Guests: Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors.
Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the lodge in excellent condition.
Reception Duties: Manage check-ins and check-outs, and handle reservations.
Information Provider: Offer guests valuable information about the lodge and surrounding area.
Cooking: Prepare meals for guests, enhancing their stay with delicious, home-cooked food (preferred but not required).

We offer this position for a duration of 1-3 months, with work primarily on weekends. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves the mountains and is looking for a temporary yet enriching experience in one of Ecuador's most beautiful regions.
