The experience

Join us in making a difference at our community kindergarten!

Assist the permanent teacher with fun activities like dancing, painting, singing, counting, and sports.
Spend quality time giving attention and support to 30-40 children divided into three age groups: 3-6.
Activities take place Monday to Thursday from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

With your presence, you will help them develop their skills have confidence in themselves, and feel loved.

What you offer

12 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 307 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

Description: We contribute to delivering school materials, clothes, shoes, and medical assistance to children who live within vulnerable populations from low-income families. Volunteers contribute 307 USD per week to cover food expenses, maintenance, and financing of our organization.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish or Beginner English

Between 20 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We will spend time with them giving them attention and support and helping them to develop their skills in counting, writing, drawing, etc.

The activities are from Monday to Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 pm
with their respective teachers, separated by the age of 3-4, 4-5, and 5 to 6 years of age.

Activities & Shift

Monday to Thursday from 2:30 to 5:30 pm you will help with the daily activities at the kinder garden like:
Singing
Writing
washing their hands
Sharing moments with them at snack time
Play with them in their free time and help the teacher with activities like organizing their homework, notebooks, pencils, etc.
