The experience

Recibir personas en establecimiento, dar bienvenida y tomar la orden, servir la comida en las mesas. Y realizar la limpieza (barrer, lavar y trapear)

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner Spanish or Intermediate English

Between 20 and 38 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Guatemala

Program Details

Ofrezco alimentación (Cena y almuerzo) y hospedaje, a cambio de voluntariado, donde puedes ayudarme en mi restaurante con preparar platillos, recibir clientes y supervisar que todo se realice correctamente. Puedes visitar la ciudad en tus horas libres y tus días libres puedes visitar diferentes ciudades de mi pais, si tengo alguna actividad en otra ciudad puedes acompañarme.

Activities & Shift

Tengo dos turnos, en horario de almuerzo o horario de cena. tu eliges DE ACUERDO A TUS HABILIDADES. Me ayudas en la cocina con: preparar platos, lavar platos o limpieza de las diferentes áreas de la cocina; o en las mesas con: bienvenida a clientes, pasar el menú, tomar la orden, servir la comida y recoger los platos. Se realiza limpieza en las diferentes áreas.

Rules

-No fumar o ingerir bebidas alcohólicas durante los horarios de trabajo.
-Prohibido ingerir bebidas alcohólicas en las habitaciones.
-Ducharse antes de ingresar al restaurante.
-Mantener tu higiene personal.
