I had a great experience volunteering in the hostel. Angelika is very enthousiastic, supportive and flexible. The hostel is located right in the old town of Chania, so everything is in walking distance. Angelika regularely took me and other guests on a day trip and showed us the most beautiful places in Crete. The tasks were fun to do and not so hard. From April on, the season is starting, so it was not to crowded and busy yet, but that was perfect. I met a lot of people from all over the world and made great memories with them. I will definitely comeback :)

Mirte was an absolute pleasure to host and to have her help me with everything to do with the hostel...she was so helpful, trustworthy and excellent with our guests...I was surely sad when it was time for her to move on...but we hope she will come back again soon 🥰

This was my first Worldpackers exchange an incredible experience. The hostel location couldn't be better and Angelika was so lovely. I could go to her if I needed anything and she was really flexible and supportive. the whole experience was very relaxed as I visited in low season but there were still people around and things to do if you look for it

Angelika was an absolutely great host, she is very accommodating and has great recommendations for what to do while you are in Chania. The position involves simple check-ins, socializing, and some light maintenance of the hostel, all in exchange for free stay and some very generous groceries for your breakfast. The hostel is also in a wonderful location! Its right in the center of town and next to the harbor. There are several beaches in walking distance as well.
