The experience

We are an orphanage. A volunteer is able to interact directly with our kids at the foundation, our community people, and the nearby communities. Volunteers are able to offer skills to kids, community people in the same way and also share knowledge and skills with our volunteers about our lifestyle, our history, and past of our community and ancients.

What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: Volunteers contribute 15 euros or 15 pounds per day which help us to cover meals, filtered water for drinking, electricity bills, water bills, internet bills and running some other activities at the foundation as well this is not part of the donations

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Swahili

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Activities & Shift

Our activities are arranged on the day a volunteer arrives and we always have two shifts of work a day which is the morning shift and the afternoon/ evening shift
