Staying and working at the hotel Pferderschulze was an amazing first experience! Everybody is very welcoming and ready to help, and it's clear giving us volunteers a good experience is important to the family. The tasks weren't hard at all and every member of the staff is very fun to work with :) so it was a pleasure to help at the hotel! The time spent not working can be a great opportunity to be in nature and enjoy the peace of the location. The connections made in this time felt really genuine and I hope we'll meet again, thank you for everything, Schulze family! :D

I spent a really lovely time in Wietzetze and I'd like to thank the family and staff for their amazing hospitality, always making you feel at home, plus spoiled by daily choices of really nice healthy food. I worked at the stables/meadows which I found a rewarding activity as you get to make even more new pals (the horses!). The location is a bit remote but you get to learn a lot about local culture. On days off you can visit Lüneburg/Hamburg. For the swimmers there's an outdoor pool in Hitzacker or if you play football you are guaranteed to be warmly welcomed by a small but proud local club🏆

It was an amazing experience. Max's family is so warm and nice. They were incredibly welcoming. I immediately felt at home and safe every day. I learned a lot about german culture and they're very disposed to teach you the language. The meals were amazing, specially breakfast 😋 The tasks were very easy going, you have a lot of free time to explore the place, read, study, etc. The place is clean and nice and I met great people (workers and other volunteers) I strongly recommend this place and I hope I can come back 😊

My first volunteer andhere was amazing, Schulze family receive you in the best way and they try to make the best for you. It's a remote place, but perfect if you want to connect with yourself, it's difficult to move to some places, but you could ask anyone, and if they have a chance, they can take you to the station, or to Hitzacker (the nearest village). About the work, I'd to work at the stables with the horses, they are really quite easy duty's, but if you are alone it could take more time. My day was divided in 2 shifts, one in the morning (7am-10am), and one in the evening (4:30pm-6pm).

A pleasant experience, the Schulze family is sociable and always willing to help with any concerns. The spaces where you can practice the language are very favorable, it is not at all times but it is possible sometimes. Tasks according to the abilities of each person, always respecting schedules and breaks. A fairly quiet place if you want to be away from the hectic city life.

This family is the best one you could live with. My experience there was really amazing. I met wonderful people, both German people and the volunteers with whom I worked. Louise is so kind and funny as the whole Schulze family. This place is peaceful and safe. German people will help you at any time if you need them. If you go there, you will probably have much fun and find forever friends. I love you all my volunteers family ♥

This was my first volunteering and I couldn't have had a more amazing experience than this. Everyone treated me very well and the activities were very smooth, I'm very grateful to Louise and the whole family for the time I spent with them, I made friendships that I will take for life. Thank you all! If you are looking for a place in nature, where you will hear the birds sing, this is the place for you.

The 2 months I spent at Pferdschulze the hotel were amazing! The family and the whole team are so welcoming and friendly which made it really easy to settle in here. It is a great place if you want to get away from the city as it is very peaceful surrounded by lots of beautiful countryside. However you can still travel easily to others towns nearby if you wish. I was able to practice my German as everyone is willing to help you. I enjoyed the work here very much as I learned a lot, gained new skills and met some fantastic people. Highly recommend! I hope we will meet again in the future :)
