The experience

Hi all!
We are looking for a positive and responsible individual to help us at our hostel.
Duties are mainly preparing beds, laundry, cleaning and checking in customers. In general maintaining the hostel clean and tidy!
You will be able to enjoy the beach a lot, have fun and make new friends as we are a cozy hostel of up to 13 people. If you like our hostels cozy and chilled atmosphere and you don't mind housekeeping join us!!

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Between 18 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

- 5 hours per day.
- 2 days off per week( two weekdays together either Monday & Tuesday OR Wednesday&Thursday) .
- We mainly work with a fixed schedule - if there is a change you will
be informed .
- We order and offer you a traditional welcome meal soon after your arrival!
- We offer to buy you stuff for breakfast once per week and you can prepare it in our kitchen.
- Check in time from 15.00 pm until 21.00pm ( Some guests might contact that they are on their way so perhaps we wait until around 21.30pm )
- Our location is 7 minutes walk from the old town of Limassol where many places to go out are.
-Beach is 20 minutes walk!!

Activities & Shift

- Basic housekeeping duties ( daily laundry, cleaning, cleaning rooms, preparing beds)
- Deep cleaning of bathrooms & kitchen
- Welcoming/checking in guests ( good communication and some flexibility and understanding regarding check in times)
- Break 13.00pm - 14.00pm
-Shifs can start 10am, 12pm (midday) or 5pm.
-We work with 2 volunteers on the days the one volunteer is off we might need your help after your shift to wait or be around the hostel for the check in!( please request to check our schedule to fully understand how we work- this happens only when we have check ins on that day)
- We kindly request our volunteers to care about the space and maintain the place clean and tidy throughout the day! This is good for you and our guests.🙂
