The experience

Night shifts of 2 days per week of 12 hours each one.
Tasks:
-Check-in guests
-Take care of the schedules of common areas
-Turn off and on lights
-Clean bathrooms and common areas


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.


What you get

4 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish and Intermediate English

Between 18 and 30 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

What´s the HOSTEL provides?
-Accommodation: a bed in a dorm or in a semi-private (subject to availability)
-Daily breakfast
-1 laundry service free of charge every 10 days
-Free Tequila Tour (valid within the first 10 days of volunteering)

*All this represents in 1 month: $ 10,000 pesos aprox ( it is in exchange for work)


Activities & Shift

In exchange, the VOLUNTEER provides:

25 hours per week night shifts.

-Cleaning


Rules

1) It is a volunteer program; THE VOLUNTEER is not part of a legal contract, therefore he / she does not receive salary, commissions, bonus, vacations or settlement.

2) THE VOLUNTEER agrees to comply with the internal regulations of the Hostel, receiving in a good way the recommendations of the staff or manager on duty. Promote respect with teammates and guests.

3)The Manager will assign the tasks to THE VOLUNTEER and will be attentive to performance.
In case of a satisfactory performance, there will be an opportunity to extend the experience at the end of the established position.
Otherwise, if the performance is not good or something of what is described here is not fulfilled, the relationship may be terminated before the deadline.
