Come live this experience in an Art Studio!

The project is a peaceful place surrounded by nature, perfect for those seeking calm and meaningful connections - it's a bit distant from the city. I built deep friendships with other volunteers in a welcoming atmosphere. Laurence, my coordinator, is always caring and supportive. The schedule is well-organized, with plenty of activities, and the vegetarian food is good — though it might be a small challenge for meat eaters. I recommend it to anyone wanting to disconnect, practice English and experience something different as well.

My stay at the project was truly transformative. Living in a castle, surrounded by breathtaking nature, and working in a large-scale art studio was a surreal experience. The work was intense, from 9 AM to 5 PM with breaks, focusing on refining sculptures for painting. Exploring different areas of the studio expanded my artistic vision. Daily guided meditations with Buddhist monks and nuns enriched my journey on a deep level. I met incredible people and learned invaluable lessons. If you'd like to know more, feel free to reach out!

I loved the experience; the entire place is beautiful and the people are very kind. I loved my time at Household — the manager Laurence is very kind and understanding, which made the whole team feel very united.

This was my first Worldpacker experience and I really enjoyed my time at the temple. Work hours were respected, the food was excellent, and the rooms and bathrooms were nice. Meditations and teachings were available for those interested in Buddhism. What I loved and miss most are the other volunteers I met and spent time with. Things to know: they assign your work area, and while you can request a change, availability isn't always guaranteed. Volunteers need to pay for their laundry, and the closest store is about a 45-minute walk from the temple.

I had a great experience, I stayed for a month and meet some of the best people, the work is as explained, they food is good, the facilities are very well maintained, my experience was very positive. It's great to get closer to nature, is a small town but very cozy and nice to see and walk around, the castle is very fun to live in, and the friends you'll make it the best part.

Wonderful experience, all those present at the project monks, volunteers, residents, managers are all very kind and interesting:) The nature around is very beautiful too. I recommend it if you want to meet and create links with persons who are from all around the world and practice English. I left after 3 weeks with a lot of amazing memories.

My experience at the project was truly great. the project is really enchanting and so well kept too. It creates a peaceful and cozy atmosphere to live in. Initially, I was planning on staying 2 weeks but I ended staying 3 weeks because I didn't want to leave yet. I made lots of friends and I met a lot of interesting people during my time there, everyone was so respectful and kind. I would highly recommend volunteering at this the project, as it offers a great opportunity for personal growth and connection with others!

This was my first experience as a volunteer and it has been truly wonderful. It has allowed me to see things from a different perspective and has given me the opportunity to connect with other travelers and my surroundings. It is for everyone, but if you are interested in Buddhism this is a great opportunity. I am grateful to have met wonderful people along the way who have made me a better person.
