Nice place to stay and get to know Romania and its culture. The tasks are easy and the staff are very friendly. There are also cats in the hostel, which is very nice. I recommend it if you want to get to know Romania and its culture. Thanks Vera and the hostel

I had a great time volunteering for the hostel really was a great opportunity to explore my capacities and i really enjoyed my time there. Vera is an wonderful human being, she is always aware we are comfortable and we had great conversations about life and laughs, 'cause she is very funny and of she finds the time, most probably you can go for a coffee or to see somewhere around. We make a great team with the volunteers, we had the chance to work and also share our spare times during the day and also the night life of Bucharest. I really recomend this hostel to volunteer! 🤩

1st time volunteer & the experience was exceptional. Vera's communication was great & I felt welcome even before arriving. The hostel has a social atmosphere, diverse guests & an amazing team of volunteers making it unforgettable. Tasks aren't demanding & split fairly amongst volunteers for a positive work/life balance. As night shift person, I stayed in the hostel (which worked for me) – the other volunteers stay in an apartment approx 120m down the street. Vera also let me stay longer without question, when I hurt my ankle. For that I am eternally grateful. Old Town: 25m walk or 3Leu bus.

Day to day the hostel is managed by the volunteers with Vera always available to provide any assistance required. From the start to the end everyone is welcoming & friendly & the tasks are easy & clear. The days & hours are agreed to in advance. With so many people passing through it's a great opportunity to build friendships with both the volunteers as well as the guests from all across the world. I arrived as a guest and left as a volunteer, thanks Vera! I'm happy to have had the opportunity to be part of the hostel community.

It was an amazing experience. an excellent team where we all work for the same cause, making the hostel better. Vera is a great host, she is always present and very helpful. volunteers have a separate house with three bedrooms, two of which are private with bathroom, kitchen, air conditioning [10/10], a plus. schedules are respected, shifts are simple tasks, such as cleaning and reception. the only negative point for me is the central location, walking home alone from the hostel at night is a little strange, but nothing happened to me. thank you Vera for the opportunity <3

It was my first volunteering experience. Volunteering in a hostel helped me to meet with many people around the world. I loved volunteering as a receptionist. I learned a lot. The accommodation was good I felt like home. Tasks weren't difficult. Also the hostel is very close to the city center. Volunteering shifts were flexible which is an advantage for me. Because Im a spontaneous person. Other volunteers were super nice and we were like a family!

Great experience, highly recommended. My experience at the hostel was excellent, it's a very interesting place to meet a lot of people and make good the hostel, the tasks have a friendly work balance, so you can get to know many places in the city and make some the hostel while you're helping in the hostel.It only remains to say thank you very much for the opportunity Vera, I will try to return soon, greetings to the whole team and the new people who will come, enjoy your experience at the hostel. Very cool experience. The owner is a very nice lady that really cares about the hostel and the enjoyment of volunteers. The work is easy, you just need to make sure everything keeps running smoothly and that there is always someone to respond to guest's concerns. For me, I arrived during a more chaotic period as the manager left a few weeks ago, which left a gap in terms of tasks and activities. I could see how the organization improved throughout my stay. I made great the hostel with the other volunteers which made the experience amazing
