Help us as dog sitter and enjoy Taiwan!

Was a positive experience. Work is as described. Mainly cleaning and a bit of fun with the dogs. Some of the days we left a bit earlier from work however in one of the weeks, I worked 1 more day than the 3 days per week agreed. As for the communication, Natasha lacked in answering me before I arrived so I ended up booking my flight to taiwan quite late and paying more and I only received the schedule from her almost 5 days after I arrive (the other volunteers told me my schedule). However after I was there, there was no issue and everything went smooth. I would do it again.

It was a very fun experience! I found I was working a lot during the week, but the workers were so sweet and made the entire process so enjoyable. I wish I was able to immerse myself more fully in the Taiwanese culture during work, however, had a blast learning about the shelter. I also enjoyed the lunch which was given during work as the places were always local and great food!

It was a great experience where I was able to spend time with native people, practice Mandarin and learn a lot about dogs. However, be aware that your main task is to clean after the dog.

The team was super friendly and welcoming. The work is hard but time passes super quickly being busy cleaning and playing with the dogs. Also you get a private room, lunch and 4 days off, which is more than fair! The hosts are very generous and are open to personal preferences regarding the schedule. Over all I had an unforgettable experience and am very thankful for the great people I met. Thank you very much!

It was my first worldpackers, I loved the experience. The tasks and working hours were very calm, exactly as it said in the description. The hosts were very flexible regarding everything, they were very welcoming and always worried about whether everything was in order. The accommodations were very basic but sufficient, a good neighborhood with everything close by. I loved the experience and recommend it, it was an excellent few days.

I highly recommend this experience! Both the country and volunteering brought me positive things! In addition to working with locals and with people from other countries, you are working with dogs! The hotel owners are lovely and respect your schedules, and you also have the freedom to choose your days off. You have enough time to visit the city and travel around the country. The accommodation is perfect and well located! You can access work by bus and it is also close to a metro station to get to the city center! I would definitely repeat the experience!
