The experience

We are looking for easy going and proactive people with good energy to help us with our daily tasks such as:

Taking care of the animals( donkeys, sheeps, dogs) feeding, cleaning etc.
Painting and renewing the facilities
Watering the plants
Keeping our place and the surrounding nice and clean
Cleaning the dorms and bathrooms
Kitchen help

These are the main tasks. They will differ depending on the day and your interests/capability

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Between 25 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We will introduce ourserlves and start the program with a good breakfast and visit of the facilities.

We want you to help us, that's why each duty is usually made by 2 people, so we will explain what to do in each moment. Do not worry if you do dont know how. We like the method: I do, we do, you do =)

Activities & Shift

We will try to organize at least one-day trip to some interesting place or dropping you at main cities around (Jerez, Cádiz, San Fernando). So, you can enjoy your days off out. However, you will love and enjoy your daily life as well having the most of the afternoon free.

We do normally 5h/day 5 days per weerk. However, depending on the weather we could change it and do 8h/day 3 days and so on.

Rules

You need to keep in mind we work for children. So we are super serious when having camps:
- Smoking and drinking alcohol inside our facilities is not allowed.
- Non-appropriate dress code (sexy clothes or too striking outfit, etc.).
-Communication skills (bad words, shouting, anger, etc.) are not tolerated.

When we are closed (with no clients) we are more relaxed about them but a high respect for everything is always needed.
We would like you to be easy going and proactive.
Be respectful towards the people and environment.
(don't throw trash outside, behave properly, etc)
Share common areas well (clean, organized and tidy)
The overuse of alcohol and drugs is not allowed.
