Had an amazing time volunteering at this hostel! The atmosphere is super chill and welcoming — everyone here made me feel at home right away. The vibe is great, with people from all over the world hanging out, sharing stories, and enjoying the barbecue nights (which are always a highlight!). The staff are friendly, and it's got everything you need for a comfortable stay. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good energy, fun people, and a true hostel experience!

I absolutely adored my time at the hostel. Martín is a wonderful the hostel and the hostel itself is incredible. There is so much space to relax at the hostel during the day but is also very walkable to the bus station and to the center of town. The shifts are easy, schedules are agreed upon and flexible, and communication is fantastic! The other volunteers were amazing as well! Martín and the other volunteers covered my shift when I was sick and even one evening so I could go do an event with the hostel. The atmosphere is unmatched and I absolutely recommend:)

The hostel is an amazing place to connect with other travelers and get to work in a team that feels like family. The tasks vary and are not too difficult. When I got a little sick everyone took good care of me and I was able to change my shifts and even not work until I felt better. It was a great team and I was very happy to have those amazing people around me. Don't be afraid to go there even if your Spanish is not that great!

Overall, I was very glad to have volunteered here. The pros: the other volunteers and guests were 10/10, the activities are fun and work environment is super chill, the language exchange was genuine, and the town offers a lot. Spanish is a very useful skill here. Few cons: the hostel needs some upkeep after years of successful and constant use. The linens and bedspreads are worn, there were momentary pest control issues, and overall it could just use a deep clean or two. Even so, the social impact of this experience outweighed my issues and I am grateful for the experience.

What an awesome experience! Sebas is the absolute GOAT, he is the guy in charge and the man is so open and cool that he was a boss at jobsite but a bro outside. You see Martin from time to time and he is cool, too. Also, you participate in the activities made by the hostel for free.

Beautiful hostel. Spanish was a little more difficult for me than I had hoped but everyone was paciente and helped me out. Tasks were educational to run a hostel. Adorable family owned hostel

You have to go to the hostel. I loved everything about it. Everyone is so friendly and caring. They make you feel like home, a literal home away from home. Martin and his staff are the coolest people I've met. The work is very doable and they are always there to answer any questions and to help. I highly highly recommend the hostel, you won't regret it. The building itself is upcycled, and very beautiful. You have to come see it in person.

Gracias a Martin y su Familia, pude aprender muchísimo, es un lugar que me enseñó a ser perseverante con mis objetivos, me contagié de una buena energía viajera , conocí gente especial que quizás solo en un día de pasada sucedió por el hostel y eso es genial, Gracias. Martin es genial, tuve una gran experiencia trabajando con él, y el equipo es súper amable y te ayuda a dar lo mejor de ti para cumplir con tus tareas. Recomiendo ampliamente esta oportunidad de voluntariado.
