I definitely hope to return to this hostel soon! Ending my volunteering I cried because part of my heart has already stayed there. Julianna, Talita, Robson, Matheus, CC, Cosme, the volunteers and the entire team are wonderful people who I would like to thank so much for being family to me these past weeks. There was always good communication in the team, a clear division of responsibilities for the day and a lot of support. There was always a great and chill atmosphere in the hostel, good work-life balance and a lot of benefits for volunteers! the hostel have also amazing location!

The hostel was such a dream! Everyone was super friendly and accepted me with open arms! I came for a month and ended up staying 2.5! The tasks are very easy and you always have support when needed! Would highly recommend this hostel! Thank you 🩷

Amazing place with amazing people. Juliana, Roberta, Mylena, Bruno at the hostel are extremely welcoming and fun and have become like a family in Rio ! The location of the hostel is perfect, so close to the hostel beach, and the work is fun and simple; making great caipirinhas for the guests and having fun meeting other travelers. It literally feels like you are not working ! I would recommend anyone to volunteer here, to experience the amazing city of Rio from the inside, learn to make great caipirinhas, and get a new family in the hostel. Juliana is incredible. She's super welcoming and just a great host and boss and made sure to always check in to see how I was feeling. The work was fairly standard - and by the end of it I learned how to make an awesome caipirinha very efficiently! The majority of the other staff members and about half the guests spoke primarily Spanish, so it is a good place to practice another language! Would definitely recommend a stay here, there are some great opportunities in an awesome location in Rio.

Fiquei bons meses no hostel, e posso dizer que finalizei o voluntariado de coração apertado. Além das experiências incríveis de troca com os hóspedes, me senti parte da família o hostel. Cresci muito como pessoa, aprendi demais e recomendo a todos essa experiência. Vá de coração aberto e aproveite ❤️

Meu voluntariado foi incrível. As atividades são bem tranquilas e os horários são respeitados. A equipe fixa de funcionários e a Ju me abraçaram e me senti em casa. A localização do hostel é privilegiada, a uma quadra da praia. Gostei tanto que estendi o voluntariado. Obrigada, Ju ♥️

The hostel virou casa pra mim, fiz tantas conexões sinceras!! Ju é uma ótima anfitriã, super flexível e aberta as nossas sugestões e necessidades. A equipe fixa é perfeita, todos são sempre muito receptivos e dispostos a ajudar. O café da manhã é maravilhoso, o quarto do staff também é ótimo. Os horários e turnos são respeitados e flexíveis em caso de imprevistos. É e sempre será incrível voltar ao the hostel Ipa!!🦎💚

Minha experiência no hostel foi simplesmente incrível! Desde o início, toda a equipe (Gabi, Mari, Penha, Carol e Thay) foi super acolhedora, me fazendo sentir totalmente em casa. A anfitriã Juh é maravilhosa, flexível, justa e sempre comunicativa. As tarefas são leves e os horários respeitados. O hostel tem ótima localização entre o hostel e Leblon, a poucos minutos da praia. O café da manhã da Thay é delicioso e farto. As festas são sensacionais e conheci pessoas incríveis que levarei comigo pra vida. Recomendo muito essa experiência!

Meu primeiro voluntariado e foi uma experiência inesquecível! Os funcionários e voluntários do hostel são pessoas incríveis que logo me fizeram sentir acolhida. As tarefas do voluntário são simples, o mais importante é proporcionar a ''buena onda'' - momentos de interação com os hóspedes, e a Ju está sempre aberta para sugestões e bate-papo. O hostel fica em uma localização ótima e pra quem quer praticar ou aprender espanhol, o hostel é ideal! Conheci pessoas de diversos lugares e pratiquei diferentes idiomas. Vivi coisas incríveis e com certeza levarei comigo ótimas memórias do tempo que fiquei!

Voluntariar no hostel Ipa foi incrível. Criei vínculos tão fortes que irei levar pra vida, além de aprender muitas coisas. Sinto que realmente evolui como pessoa. Em relação ao hostel, a localização é a melhor possível, o quarto dos voluntários teve muita melhoria e a Ju sempre se mostrou disposta a ajudar. As funcionárias (Carol, Penha e mari) são pessoas maravilhosas e parceiras, nunca me senti sobrecarregada. Enfim, só pontos positivos! Gostei tanto que fiquei 4 meses :) espero que o hostel siga com essa buena onda e energia contagiante!
