First and foremost I have no words to describe how Feya is an incredible person and how her family were great for my first volunteer. The project I've had there was amazing because she mixed my skills in construction with several challenges and gave me total liberty to improve or change Littles details in the main service. Furthermore the food, hours, respect and rooms are over necessary, I mean I received much more I was offering and total support in any case of problems. She is the best.

This was our first volunteer experience and we are really glad to have found such a good host. The rules were clear from the beginning and our working hours were flexible. Faye recommended us great local things to do on our days off and the girls were so social and always fun to be around. As native speakers they supported us a lot with improving our English. We would highly recommend Faye as a host❤

I had a great experience with Faye and family! She was a great hostess, very organized, accommodating and kind. She also has two lovely daughters who love to play and socialize with everyone. The location was quiet and good for relaxing and exploring the surrounding nature. I had a great time, thank you again Faye!

It was my first experience as a worldpacker and it was amazing! Faye, Ben and the girls are a really lovely family and they have a enormous heart! They treat me as a family member and I'm very thankful for that! I helped them with construction and gardening along with two other volunteers. They are very flexible with the tasks and let you make your own schedule. Every night they have dinner together and for me is the most especial hour of the day. I'm very happy to meet them all and I'll never forget this experience. Thank all of you!

I'm so happy to have met this family!! Faye, Ben, girls, thank you so much for giving me the space to make me feel comfortable. The work depends on the project of the moment. I had to sand and paint the walls. Faye was in charge of showing me and explaining to me what I had to do and how. It's requested to work 5hs per day and 5 days. Every night, dinner is shared at 6:30pm being a pleasant time to get to know each other and enjoying delicious food. For breakfast and lunch you have to prepare by yourself but you can use everything from the kitchen. I lived very nice moments in the home ❤️

Faye picked us up at the station with a big smile! She was extremely communicative about what she expected from us during our stay, which I find very important. We felt comfortable and welcomed. It was a pleasure to meet and socialize with her kids, as well as have dinner all together. Overall it was a great experience! Thank you, Faye!

Faye and Ben were very accommodating and made me feel welcome. They appreciate hard work and take great care of you. Faye cooks a variety of delicious dinners every night served at 6:30pm. For other meals you help yourself to whatever in the refrigerator or in the cupboards. Their daughters, Izabel and Maria are both very sweet and polite. I really enjoyed my stay with them and recommend them highly as hosts.

It is a fun experience and a good place to learn a lot of different stuff… (it's definitely not the pace for you if you're scared of insects or lizards 🦎 😂) Faye gives you a lot of freedom do decide how to plan your own schedule …. And there is always enough food for everyone… and the best part is the coast is just 1 and a half hours by car 🌊

Château the home is a very nice place with a lot of history. If you like tinkering and restore old buildings, its your place. Do not anticipate any square corners etc ;) You will be given some projects your are expected to finish within your stay. You are responsible to organize yourself, as you may work on your own. You also have to decide yourself when to take a break and your days off. Samadet is a very rural area. Its nice to explore by bike. On your days off, I highly recommend to go to Atlantic coast between Bayonne and San Sebastian, its great!
