The home Steve were wonderful hosts that were extremely accommodating and made my first worldpacker experience unforgettable and the best I could ask for. The work was various, and some days it was hard and some days easy. I learned so much about gardening, composting, living sustainably, quiet rural farm life, landscaping, and how to use many farm tools. I would hope any Worldpackers reading this dont get the idea that it will be easy--as long as you work hard, have ambition, and have regard for others and their things, this will be for you like it was for me--the best I could ask for.

The home Steve were so lovely to me. I really enjoyed the time that I spent with them. The job wasn't so light, because it's summer time and there's a lot of things to do. But the home Steve always respected my working hours and were always trying to make sure that I was enjoying the job and learning from it. It's not that easy to go to other places around, because the house is far away, but the home Steve took me to a lot of different places and cities. I had a really nice cultural experience, with live concerts and art galleries. And the food was really good! It's a real luck to be chosen by them

This was one of the best expiriences I had in my life! the home steve are really nice persons with a HUGE heart. They are a lovely couple and is really nice to hang out with them. The job is really cool and you will learn a lot about gardening, the work can be little hard sometimes but they won't give you any task you can't handle. They make so much efford to make volunteers feel good and comfortable... They will take you out to explore places, give you a great bedroom to stay, good food (really good food) and you will learn a lot about sustentabilty, wich is great!!!

Thank you for such a lovely review, Lucas. We enjoyed having you to stay and your enthusiasm and energy. Thank you, both, for all the hard work you put into the two weeks - it wasn't the most enjoyable weather for WPS! But neither of you ever complained. Let us know how you get on with your next adventure.

We're looking forward to seeing your video and seeing you become an international social media sensation!

I am sad that i can give only 5 stars in this feedback, because the home Steve deserve the whole sky!!! Everything good that you read on the comments bellow are totally true. If there is any bad comment, the person who did it must be tripping so hard... If you ever get chosen by the home Steve, feel HONORED. Seriously. Also, i would give my little toe from my left foot to eat the home's food one more time.

Oh goodness! I just filled up! You are so kind! I'm just sorry that the weather was so awful - it kind of put a bit of a dampner on our projects! But you did the very best job at potting up and, at the last count, I have 180 tomato seedlings!!! They just keep popping up - what did you feed them!!!!?

Keep in touch, Lorelay, and don't forget to use the talent that you have for art. And next time - teach me how to do the Foster the People dance!
Lots of love xx

As my 1st WP experience I can tell that the home & Steve far exceeded my expectations. The place is beatiful and well keept, the level of attention they show, exceptional and the activities planned are well integrated into the stay. As for the experience, I shared the project with a couple and luckly we got along very well, in part thanks to the lead of the hosts who patiently guided us trogh the daily life in the Moulin and provided us with personalized attention and kindness. Also, they do not allow you to know hunger. The food they serve is all delicious and served in abundant portions.

The home Steve are nice hosts, they shared their house and their lifestyle with me. the home taught me a lot about permaculture and gardening. Steve took me hiking and kayaking. Their house is beautiful, they are great cooks and they have 2 awesome dogs and 1 cat. I recommend this experience if you want to improve your English, learn about gardening and you enjoy spending time in nature and in a quiet environment!

The home & Steve were gracious and respectful hosts. Working with them far exceeded my expectations. This was my first worldpackers experience and it has me excited for more. Work hours were as listed; hard work but fair and reasonable. the home took the time to educate me on everything we were doing throughout my time there. I really feel like I came out of it having learned a lot. Down time was very enjoyable, getting to know the two of them and the area they live in. We had the most wonderful chats over delicious home cooked meals. You will have yourself a laugh and truly feel at home here.

I had an amazing experience with Jo and Steve ! I have learned so much about gardening and not only that, but I also learned a lot about life as well. Throughout the week it was hard work with a lot of laughter and learning. In the week(ends) they brought us to some beautiful places. Throughout the day every meal was great, and we had everything we needed. They have the nicest cats and dogs, which I am gonna miss. I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to learn a lot and have a great time while doing it. Thanks for a lovely stay !

Jo and Steve are fantastic hosts. They opened their home to us, and we had a great exchange of knowledge and fun. Whilst working there, we learned a lot about gardening, composting and nature. Jo told us a lot about gardening methods and how nature and crops interact with each other. We felt part of a team, and it was always very clear what we had to do and why. As an animal friend, I was very happy to meet their two lovely cats and two dogs, who are very sweet. Every day we got delicious home-cooked meals, and we got to see the area and some great villages. Thank you both for a lovely time!

I had an great time at the home. Jo and Steve are amazing people, kind, gentle and generous. I learned about composting, environmental, gardening. The work can be hard but they're always around showing what need to be done and they have all necessary tools for safety. We had so much fun together with amazing dinners, going out in the cities around and also playing Uno. I'll never forget this experience and I hope I can come back some day. Already miss you, guys 💙 thanks for everything!
