In return for your work each of our staff members receive free accommodation and free breakfast, plus a chance to explore the city in our free walking tour, events at the hostel.
What you offer
32 hours of help per week
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Night Shift:
Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
What you get

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements
Fluent English or Intermediate Portuguese
Between 18 and 35 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
We are a multicultural team in a hostel on Lisbon's city center. At our hostel, you won't be seen as just a helper; you'll be part of a strong team of people working together to make the business even better!
All our Worldpackers are given the opportunity to learn real hostel management and what it takes to run one. If you join our team, your main responsibility will be to support and interact with guests on a daily basis. You will also be in charge of other tasks such as bed making, basic cleaning, etc.
Activities & Shift
The shifts are divided between day and night and the activities vary.
They include bed-making, organize deliveries, showing the hostel around to the guests. All supporting activities to the main operations of the hostel
Rules
You do NOT have to speak Portuguese to apply, but must be able to work a minimum of ONE MONTH.
