My heart is filled with joy, hope and inspiration after volunteering in the amazing Osaby Nature Reserve. Helle and Nils are two special people who made my trip a memorable experience. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom with me. From providing me with a cozy accommodation, delicious healthy food and suggesting awesome paths to explore around, you made sure that I had the best time. I now have a better understanding on how to preserve nature and environment. I'd recommend this experience to people in love with nature who need to take a break from the daily chaotic life.

During the experience I felt very welcome, appreciated and trusted. Communication with the host was open and the tasks and working hours were as agreed upon. The place itself offers a breathtaking scenery, and at times I needed to pinch myself to realize that I got to work and live there. Thank you Nils and Helle and everyone else I met, for making my stay an unforgettable one, definitely in a positive way! I would recommend this experience especially for someone who enjoys being surrounded by nature and is interested in sustainability, vintage lifestyle as well as getting to know locals.

My first experience as a Worldpacker was a success. I'd like to thank Nills, Helle and their family for making me feel so welcome. Carin, Nills' mother, is also a wonderful woman. I've been in Sweden for 6 months and this is the first time I've been so well looked after. I learnt how a hostel works and the various housekeeping tasks. My tasks were varied, helping out in the kitchen, painting... The property: the mansion and the surrounding countryside are magnificent. I had a great time with the other volunteers. I would recommend this experience. Thank you so much!

Nils and Helle are great hosts! They were always attentive to my well-being, and it was fantastic to learn and put in practice the skills through the tasks executed. The place is just like a movie … I can't believe the magic that the mansion and the hostel inspires. Being in touch with the nature (a big lake, green areas, wild animals, trees, etc). They also make you feel like part of their family, are flexible and bring you a cultural immersion. Thanks for letting me be part of your life for some weeks !!!

This was my first experience as a volunteer and it was worth every second! I was welcomed and treated with much love and attention by Helle, Nils and their family! The hosts are incredible, everyone is super polite, welcoming and comprehensive. The mansion is gorgeous and the hostel is super charming. I've done really significant and inspiring work, certainly gathered knowledge and experience for my whole life. Every moment will be remembered with lots of gratitude an love on my memories of the hostel and Osaby! Thanks for the hosts for allowing us to have this great experience!

This volunteering exceeded my expectations. The place is incredible not only the mansion and the hostel where we were staying but the nature surrounding it, the place feels magical. Nills and Helle are amazing people, they made us feel like part of their family and always took care of us. I meet amazing volunteers that makes my stay even more special. Work could be physically hard sometimes as part of the renovations, but I find it a fair trade for everything I was getting in exchange. I would love to come back and spend more sunny days in the mansion.

My volunteering with Nils and Helle was amazing! They made me feel part of their family and were always nice and flexible!! The tasks are very easy to do, the hours and days-off are exactly as listed here. The surroundings of the hostel/mansion are a breathtaking scenery!!! I'd recommend this experience to anyone interested in it!! Once again I'd like to thanks Nils and Helle and their beautiful family for welcoming me in their home and make it possible for me to have a great time here! Im going miss these days and will for sure comeback to have a "fika" with them!

The hosts are calm and kind, the place is very beautiful and calm. The tasks to be done were also very easy. The only thing that could change would be a fixed time for lunch and dinner, as I and other volunteers were often lost when we were going to eat as it was beyond normal meal times. One of the incredible things was that they lent the car a few times so we could go downtown on the weekends and have fun at the club in their restaurant. It was a nice experience and I'm happy for the people I met there.
