I had such an amazing time staying at Michele's bnb. I had a unique experience as Michele and her daughter were on holiday during my dates—but that didn't matter. Michele was very attentive and helpful even over the phone. Always being clear with tasks and communicating with care. I truly felt welcomed and appreciated. The work was simple and versatile, never a boring day. The apartment itself is beautiful and a credit to Michele and Stacey. Neighbors and friends of Michele were also always there to help. It's clear Michele is used to taking Volunteers due to her kind and respectful attitude.

My stay with Michele was fantastic! From the very beginning and throughout the entire time, I felt incredibly welcome and respected. The house is beautiful, and with two dogs and three cats, it feels very lively. At the same time, your privacy is fully respected, so it's never a problem if you want to take some time for yourself. The tasks are very simple and manageable—there's no expectation of perfection; rather, it's about learning new things and gaining experience. So if you want to enjoy nature in southern France and take some city trips, this is the perfect opportunity!

The tasks were quite simple as they mostly consisted of household chores and they were very respectful of my time. The town itself is beautiful and surrounded by nature, but with that said, it had VERY limited shops nearby; Which is why it was a bit hard considering you only get breakfast and they barely cook. My room was okay but the rest of the house was rather unkept and unless you can ignore mess and dirt, it's not the most ideal situation. When I mentioned these things to the host, it felt unaccepted but I hope they improve for the next volunteers.

Well. i am rathershocked by what you said here ! Mess and dirt? Where exactly? IRegarding the food - i state specifically atht you get breakfast and lunch is a salad or sandwhich, which you can make yourself. I provide bread, pasta, sauces, cheese, ham, milk, butter, eggs, and chicken and pork sometimes.

This experience is great for anyone who wants to find calmness and peace explore a very unique part of France and likes nature! The host is very helpful and understanding and always respects the hours and days agreed! You have your own private room and Michelle provides breakfast and snacks! The village is very small with only 3 restaurants and a mini market but you can use the bicycle provided or walk to explore the surroundings it's very safe! There are also buses until 18.00! The work included painting the walls cleaning the house and making breakfast for the guests! Amazing experience!

I was very happy to end up with a host like Michelle for my first Worldpacker's experience. She is an experienced host and was very welcoming. Her home is lovely and the town itself felt very safe and had so much character. Michelle has high expectations for her volunteers but the work was always reasonable and she respected your hours and days off. You'll meet a lot of interesting and kind people when you work with Michelle and Lucie, Tybby, and Zoe will be your best of friends as well. I would definitely recommend working with Michelle if you'd like an authentic and cozy French experience!

I had a wonderful time in Michele's home! The work was taking pictures and organizing the clothes she is reselling as well as helping with the housekeeping. My working hours were always respected, I could work at my own pace and I felt very comfortable at her place. Her two cats and Lucie, the dog, also contributed to that :) But more than anything, the environment around her town is just stunning. Although the town is very small, there's a bike to get around and plenty of other towns to visit or hikes to take. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to explore a beautiful national park

I stayed with Michele for two weeks and it was a very lovely time! I loved my room and was provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday! It was a great way to connect with nature and everyone I met was very friendly. I felt very safe in the town and neighboring towns. Taking care of things around the B&B was very easy and I enjoyed it a lot! I would recommend staying with Michele to anyone, she did a great job of making me feel welcome and was a wealth of information for me!

My stay at Michele's has been truely amazing! The work was not hard to do and everything was as agreed :) The location is amazing, especially if you like move in nature (Michele has a bike and cool hiking spots close by). But there's also bigger cities you can get to by bus and train! I will miss this little corner of the world with all it's inhabitants, including Lucy (the dog), Tybby&Zoey (the cats) and of course Michele 🫶🏻

Michele, along with Lucy, Toby and Zoe, have hosted me really well. The private bedroom and the wifi are amazing. Besides that La Vaniere is located in a beautiful (I mean really beautiful! I have been to Patagonia and this place is as beautiful as) regional park named Langedoc. We can ride Michele's bike to many cities around through the bike lane (Voie Vert) that is among the hills and along the river orb. I highly recommend the stay, specially if you want to learn and practice languages and if you enjoy nature. ❤️
