Working for the hostel may have been the best thing I've ever done for myself! I almost don't wish to share how truly amazing the experience was because I don't want the spots to fill up so I can come back next year! It never felt like work because it was always exciting and fun! I highly recommend applying not only for the amazing memories and experiences but because Rafa provides a space that is warm and safe to make you feel like it is your home away from home. Thank you for an amazing first volunteer experience!

I had the best time at the hostel. The manager Rafa is one of the loveliest human beings ever and could not have been better to me. The work is fun, the hours respected, and I was given loads of help to settle in. Lagos is a beautiful place and the hostel is in a great location for beaches and nightclubs. And the volunteer apartment is the best accommodation I have seen for volunteers at a hostel. It was so lovely. The hostel itself is great with two terraces for chatting with guests. And the parties are great. I loved it and will go back!!!!!!!!!

My stay at the hostel was truly wonderful! The team of coworkers and volunteers makes you feel instantly at home:) The work hours were respected as the shifts consisted of either night shift or social hosting (pub crawling) and sometimes a few hours of help in the reception during the day. Especially the social hosting allowed us to bond with the guests which made the whole hostel a family! I had some greeeat weeks, and I can definitely recommend this amazing experience - although the hostel had bed bugs://

I would recommend 100% this experience! The host and her coworkers are very nice and inclusive, they respected the agreement of tasks and hours of work. The hostel is wonderful, it's always clean and the guesthouse let you have your own spaces and privacy. It's a place where you can meet people from all over the world and give everyday good vibes!

Volunteering at the hostel was an experience I'll never forget. The entire staff was so welcoming & fun, and we bonded so quickly from when I arrived. It truly felt like I was a part of a family during my stay! The hostel is incredibly inviting with so many things to do with the guests, and everything was so organized as well. Lauren made everything seamless & so fun, I can't think of anyone better to spend my time with here. I HIGHLY recommend this exchange, if you love to relax on the beach and the hostel at night, this is the place to be!! Leaving was the hardest part!

This was a highlight of my travel experience! I had the best month with the hostel and the entire staff team was excellent. The schedule was also very reasonable and Lauren was able to accommodate for any request. Lagos itself is paradise. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to meet locals, get involved with the town and loves to spend the day at the beach and spend their nights at the bars. the hostel will forever have my heart.
