Working at the stable was a beautiful and enriching experience. Connecting with the horses and having time to reflect made each day feel special. The tasks were simple and teamwork made it easy to finish early, which kept us motivated. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and fair. I'm very thankful to the Schulze family for being such attentive and caring hosts—they made sure we felt comfortable and included us in cultural activities. Days off are respected, but plan ahead if you want to travel outside the village. I truly loved this volunteering experience and highly recommend it!

It was a peaceful and special experience to reconnect with nature, the horses, and myself. The place is located in a very remote area, perfect for those seeking silence, serenity, and a slower pace. I wouldn't recommend it for people looking for a more dynamic environment or village life, as it's quite isolated. Max, his family, and the stable staff were always kind and respectful, which I truly appreciated. Regarding meals, they are usually leftovers from the hotel guests, and on Sundays, lunch is not provided—even if you're working—so that's something important to keep in mind.

I stayed here for 3 ½ weeks and enjoyed my time. It was nice to be in the peace and quite of the German countryside while still having good access to the train network to explore other cities. The stable team was great to work with, always happy to show me how something works.

This was my first experience as a volunteer. I really enjoyed spending time with the family, the team and the other volunteers. The tasks are easy to do. The place is very quiet and peaceful, ideal for connecting with nature. The location allows you to visit nearby towns by bike or also travel to Lüneburg or Hamburg by train easily. I thank the family for the opportunity they gave me and I would surely come back another time.

I LOVE THIS PLACE The Schulze family are great people to whom I am grateful, because whenever there was the opportunity they included us in their activities, such as town festivals, soccer games and things like that. They also always listened to us and were flexible to some requests we made. For my first volunteering, it was a wonderful experience. Starting because the place is prettier than I imagined, the photos really don't do justice to what Wietzetze is. There was also a good feeling with the work team (those from the hotel and the other volunteers) with whom I had very good

At the hotel, I had my first experience as a volunteer. And it was incredible. The Schulze family and their workers are respectful and very kind people. Particularly worked in the stables with Theresa and her team. She is a very respectful and loving person. They were very patient with me regarding the language and it was not an impediment to having a good time and doing my job in the stables.I enjoyed sharing with other volunteers and locals. I'm going to really miss the horses, Ponnys and big Tom, who stole my heart. I would love to be able to return.

I had really good first Worldpackers experience at the hotel. As soon as I arrived the family as well as the employees were welcoming and very nice. I also had such a good time with the other volunteers that were there. Working at the stables was everything I expected. The mane tasks were : cleaning the horses boxes as well as the paddocks, sweeping the stables, watering the riding arena, and feeding the horses. I really recommend this place to anybody that wants to take a break from the city and want to spend time with horses.

It was my first experience as a volunteer and I'm not disappointed! the hotel is a really nice and calm place in a small village in the countryside. I worked at the stables: I had to keep the place clean and feed the horses mainly. I even had the chance to ride many times, I'm so grateful for that! Maybe I would have liked the tasks to be more varied. The family is welcoming and the other volunteers were so friendly! I had a lot of free time which allowed me to visit cities all around. I'm now attached to this place and those sweet horses!Thank you for this experience!
