My time in the organization was amazing. Thiago, the founder of the ONG is an incredible person that will teach you everything about Brazil, the food, the underground culture, the political and social situation. The project is important for the community in which is developed, and I was lucky to end up in a week full of events and adventures! The normal work usually only involves cleaning, but everyone is very flexible and ready to adjust to your needs. The dogs are lovely, the room they provide is huge and comfortable. Thank you Thi, Ale, Dani, e todos, vou voltar! Amo vocês

The organization welcomed me very lovingly. After a few hours I already felt at home - the staff is very friendly, gently introducing you to the house and the activities, while ensuring your wellbeing. The work itself is simple and passes by quickly. I recommend participating in the activities as well, such as dancing capoeira with the children. I enjoyed the exchange with the children the most, as I learned valuable things from them, but also from the exchange with the NGO's staff. Believe me, there's much more awaiting you than you can imagine! Look forward to it!!

An advice: enjoy every moment because time will fly! The hosts are incredible people, very welcoming and with which you can have super interesting conversations. I learned so much about Brasil, its history, values and current situation. The work is light and fun. The house is beautiful, with many open spaces. Maresias is a cute beach town, I felt very safe and it was my first time solo travelling and in Brasil. I advise to do surf lessons with Thiago (the host). It's super fun and personalised experience. He's a very good teacher. Overall highly recommend experience!

I'm grateful for my stay and the insight about socioenvironmental issues as well as Brazil in general that was shared. The project is impressively organised and seem to have a high value to the community. Thiago and everyone else I met there are super welcoming and warm people. With me I take lots of inspiration and hope!

Being part of the organization was amazing! It was my first volunteer project and it couldn't have been better. Thiago and Bruna are wonderful hosts and the whole family of the organization makes you feel at home from the very first moment. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to learn about the community, the life in Maresias and the great impact of the NGO - environmentally and socially. I recommend volunteering at the organization to everyone and would love to come back again!!

This experience was incredible. Starting with Thiago who is probably one of the most caring and empathetic humans there is. I felt comfortable at the organization the minute I stepped in. The other volunteers there were equally as welcoming and I have made some amazing connections for life. The work that is being done at this NGO is so important and provides much needed support and inspiration for children, the community, and the environment. I got to be immersed in the local culture, see some amazing beaches, as well as some beautiful water falls. An experience of a lifetime. ❤️

Adorei a experiência na organização! As tarefas foram passadas de forma clara e os horários foram bem flexíveis. A rotina é bem organizada e há tempo para aproveitar bastante também! A comunicação é muito tranquila. O projeto é sensacional e todas as pessoas envolvidas são incríveis! Foi uma experiência ótima e uma grande oportunidade de aprendizado! Não podia ter pedido uma melho experiência de voluntariado ! Estava a esperar de aprender muito, tanto a nível técnico como humano, e de partilhar momentos com pessoas fantásticas, mas esse trabalho voluntário excedeu em muito as minhas expectativas ! O Thiago é um homem maravilhoso que sabe muito e gosta de partilhar esse conhecimento com os outros. Todas as pessoas com quem ele trabalha são também pessoas com um grande coração. Talvez essas duas semanas e meia são as mais ricas da minha vida, e ficarão gravadas na minha cabeça para sempre ! J'espère revenir ici, merci pour tout ! ❤️

A organização foi uma experiência transformadora, cheia de força, alegria e aprendizados, que mexeu comigo por inteira. Vivi trocas profundas com educadores, famílias e crianças, que me mostraram o poder do afeto, da educação e da luta contra o sistema opressor.
