Stay at our eco-village and learn how to build a tiny house!

Do you have experience with building with wood or other materials?
We are an open-minded, experimental community in the heart of the Netherlands, and we are open for volunteers that would like to have some freedom in building and helping maintaining our eco-village facilities.

Program Details
Volunteering here is a great opportunity to grow your skills and autonomy. The work is mainly physical work, including painting, maintenance work, building, cooking, cleaning, planting and gardening, and we let the volunteer do whatever improvement or project he/she/they feel like doing, as long as we believe it is beneficial to the community.
We are going to be building a tiny house together this season (2025)!
We also have some work we ask directly to the volunteer, and we usually guide them and provide instructions and materials, but then the volunteer is expected to work independently and autonomously. It is usually 4 days a week of work, and 3 days of free time/days off. We offer collective meals together, an equipped kitchen with food supplies and the volunteer can feel free to make use of it at any time.
Activities & Shift
This is pretty flexible. The work is mainly physical work, including painting, maintenance work, building, cooking, cleaning, improvements in general, art work, planting and gardening.
Rules
Our place has a lot of space for experimentation and to explore self-creation, and for the majority of people that's very exciting and intriguing. We do not give too many instructions or guidance, just a little bit. And we hope the volunteer take initiative and do things by themselves.
