Volunteering at the hostel has been such a wonderful experience. I recommend it without any hesitation. Daily tasks are pretty simple and you get lots of free time to explore Oaxaca and it's surroundings, bond with the other volunteers, the guests and the staff there. I loved it!

Had a great time at Hostel the hostel! Oaxaca is a beautiful city with a lot of good food, nature, parties and people. I met so many great people including locals, guests at the hostel and travellers. Would 100% recommend volunteering here!🤗

For me, this is best hostel where to stay as a volunteer. Fabi and Jaime are wonderful people that put lots of love in their hostel, their community and their staff. They have lots of experience with volunteers and offer a great work environment and training in reception tasks. In exchange, you get two free days a week, a bed in a nice shared room and the opportunity to socialize. I learned massively about running a hostel and hospitality. I would suggest volunteering here if you can speak at least some Spanish, want to explore Mexican culture and are happy to work/live with a team.

From far one OF the best hostels I had the privilege to volunteer at. Our Hosts/Managers are THE best, quality of people, warm hearts, fun to be around and they treat us like friends. The common areas are great and cozy. I missed breakfast once and it REALLY hurt cuz it IS so tasty and traditional mexican. I probably gained a couple kilos in Oaxaca by all the delicious and fresh food there is in town and markets. The location can't be better, walking distance to most places of interest and entertainment. I already wanna go back! Gracias ❤️💛💚

My experience at the hostel was incredible. The hostel itself is beautiful - a perfect balance of social and relaxing environments, an ideal space to spend a time volunteering. I can't imagine better hosts than Jaime and Fabi. They made me feel so welcome and are always around to help. The tasks are straightforward and the hostel's (almost) nightly events are a great opportunity to connect with the guests and other volunteers. Volunteers have their own separate area with a full bathroom. The fresh, homemade breakfast each day had to be one of the highlights! Thank you so much!

Amazing experience in a beautiful hostel filled to the brim with good vibes and good people! The volunteers get a big shared room with enough space for everybody, great breakfast and the opportunity to participate in the engaging hostel events. The whole team is very loveable and the hosts Fabi and Jaime made me feel 100% welcome - very recommendable!

Esta fue una experiencia hermosa. El equipo del hostal siempre me hicieron sentir en casa, hay una armonía muy bella en el hostal que se contagia entre todos, los huéspedes, voluntarios y stuff Los desayunos son increíbles cada día Las actividades divertidas Los turnos muy cómodos y sencillos Muchas, muchas gracias por esta oportunidad tan increíble Recomendado al 100% Espero volver pronto como huesped o voluntaria, ha sido hermoso

El mejor hostal en el que he voluntariado :) lx equipx es una maravilla. Las actividades de pronto eran varias, dependiendo la cantidad de huéspedes, pero siempre se tiene apoyo, es muy importante la comunicación, integración y el trabajo en equipo, mantener una actitud amigable y de respeto. Me sentí como una huésped durante mi tiempo y la diversión y novedades no faltaron. Recomiendo mucho este espacio para quienes quieren pasar un tiempo en Oaxaca.

¡Me gustaría agradecer a Kris y a todo el equipo por esta fabulosa estancia en Oaxaca! El trabajo es accesible, los horarios se respetan y la comida es muy buena! Si buscas descubrir la región de Oaxaca este es el mejor lugar para ir. ¡Sólo puedo recomendarte que te unas a la familia! Mejoré mi español y pude aprender mucho sobre cultura y folclore. La habitación es muy grande. Los voluntarios se ayudan entre sí, siempre hay buen humor, es realmente un placer trabajar.
