The hostel is truly a home away from home. Every thing about the staff, the owners, the guests, and the overall community is truly amazing. The owners and staff members have done such a PHENOMENAL job of making this space one that feels like a true community. That is no simple task. What they do here is nothing short of magic. From the delicious breakfasts, the fun activities, the intentional celebrations, and simply joking around with the other staff/volunteers/owners it is truly a lovely place to spend your time. I would recommend the hostel as a volunteer or guest any day. <3

I don't know where to start! Fabi and Jaime are amazing people, bosses, and friends! I was so lucky to have volunteered in Oaxaca during the most vibrant time of the year here - el Día de los Muertos and I'm so grateful they gave me this opportunity. The hostel is very clean, friendly and so close to everything. The living conditions for volunteers are amazing - there is a private room for volunteers only & bathroom with a shower. You will also be amazed by the fact that you'll never get bored in Oaxaca city as it's full of events. Thank you guys for everything! You're absolutely the best!🫶🏼

Thank you the hostel for being my first home away from home on this full time traveling journey. I am grateful for the volunteers, Fabi & Jaime, other staffs and daily hugs from Kristel. I learned quite a bit and am getting to experience Oaxaca; what a beauty. There is a certain energy at the hostel... it feels balanced🌻

Volunteering at the hostel has been such a wonderful experience. I recommend it without any hesitation. Daily tasks are pretty simple and you get lots of free time to explore Oaxaca and it's surroundings, bond with the other volunteers, the guests and the staff there. I loved it!

Had a great time at Hostel the hostel! Oaxaca is a beautiful city with a lot of good food, nature, parties and people. I met so many great people including locals, guests at the hostel and travellers. Would 100% recommend volunteering here!🤗

For me, this is best hostel where to stay as a volunteer. Fabi and Jaime are wonderful people that put lots of love in their hostel, their community and their staff. They have lots of experience with volunteers and offer a great work environment and training in reception tasks. In exchange, you get two free days a week, a bed in a nice shared room and the opportunity to socialize. I learned massively about running a hostel and hospitality. I would suggest volunteering here if you can speak at least some Spanish, want to explore Mexican culture and are happy to work/live with a team.

From far one OF the best hostels I had the privilege to volunteer at. Our Hosts/Managers are THE best, quality of people, warm hearts, fun to be around and they treat us like friends. The common areas are great and cozy. I missed breakfast once and it REALLY hurt cuz it IS so tasty and traditional mexican. I probably gained a couple kilos in Oaxaca by all the delicious and fresh food there is in town and markets. The location can't be better, walking distance to most places of interest and entertainment. I already wanna go back! Gracias ❤️💛💚

My experience at the hostel was incredible. The hostel itself is beautiful - a perfect balance of social and relaxing environments, an ideal space to spend a time volunteering. I can't imagine better hosts than Jaime and Fabi. They made me feel so welcome and are always around to help. The tasks are straightforward and the hostel's (almost) nightly events are a great opportunity to connect with the guests and other volunteers. Volunteers have their own separate area with a full bathroom. The fresh, homemade breakfast each day had to be one of the highlights! Thank you so much!

Amazing experience in a beautiful hostel filled to the brim with good vibes and good people! The volunteers get a big shared room with enough space for everybody, great breakfast and the opportunity to participate in the engaging hostel events. The whole team is very loveable and the hosts Fabi and Jaime made me feel 100% welcome - very recommendable!
