The experience

Help us revive outbuildings to accommodate culled farm animals & prevent them from slaughtering.
We are looking for people who can build or repair stone walls, rehabilitate roofs, insulate, help with the interior finishes of the gites of the future reception farm.
Help with gardening, mowing, planting & maintaining the garden.
Help take care of the animals: at the beginning of June 2 sheep to be sheared, & different tasks on different animals.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner French

Over 20 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

We will often be with you especially at the beginning or for structural works
If the desire to occasionally offer your services for other tasks comes to you, it will be welcome (eg cooking, maintenance of flowers and the outdoor setting ...)
