The experience

We are a Family of 4, we look for some one french speaking to help us looking after our kids (3 n 1 years) and do house tasks. We’d love our child to be able to speak french. We live in Madrid but we also have a country house with pool not far away from Madrid where we will be most weekends, you can come with us to enjoy the countryside. If you are passionate about children, easygoing and energetic we I’ll love to welcome you into our family.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent French

Over 20 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Spain

Program Details

You will be mostly helping with the kids, playing with them, going to the park, changing nappies, helping with bath, picking up and dropping off to school, feeding etc. Also we will need you to help with house tasks related to the children and help us maintain the house tidy and neat. We will offer you accommodation in our house in Madrid or in the country farm, depending where we are at each moment, we go from one to another regularly. All meals are included.

Activities & Shift

You will work about 2 hours in The morning until the kids are in kindergarten and about 3 in the afternoon, you will have dinner with us, we will usually cook so in exchange you can tidy up after dinner or you can offer to cook sometimes if you like.
