O really recommend this hostel. My time there was really nice. The staffs there reccept me like a family. The work time and Jobs was exactly like the description. I was really because i need to Go. Thank you for all the hostel ! I'll be back !

The hostel was the best first experience, the host and the staff make you feel like at home, it's a family. You can learn about the differents stiles of life in rio, also they help you with your Portuguese, they have the best parties, the best energy and for me the best hostel, it's so big. Work at the chicken was the funniest for me, but also if you are doing other homework, you don't even realize that it's a work, because you're having a good time. Finally the host picks the best world packers, so I enjoyed this adventure with the best people. Just the best hostel in Rio for sure!!!

Im sorry if this review ends to be a love letter but my stay at the hostel was just amazing, this family afopted me so quickly and made me feel so confortable that I just want to thank them. Felipe was very kind to me from the first day, he made sure I was having a good time at work. The girls at the kitchen were very nice too; Bea, Cris and Clia :) and then of course Guido and Fabio who tought me how to make my first caipirinha and took me to the best places in Río! I'll miss you all but I'll be back for sure :) of course you're all invited to my home in Argentina. Love and the hostel! Paz

My experience at the hostel was really good. All the worldpackers I met there made me feel as I had a little new family in Rio. The hostel is beautiful, next to the Copacabana beach and very close to Ipanema Beach as well. It was my first experience as a worldpacker and for sure I did not regret it. Thanks the hostel

Sin duda el hostel fue mejor decisión para hacer mi primer voluntariado. Cada persona que conocí ahí fue amable, atenta y divertida. Con respecto al trabajo me hubiera gustado empezar un poco más temprano para poder aprovechar el día pero aparte de eso todo excelente, todos tenemos la misma carga horaria, no es un trabajo pesado y Felipe siempre está atento preguntando sobre nuestro bienestar y si nos puede ayudar en algo, entiende que somos gente conociendo un lugar nuevo entonces es bastante comprensivo. Definitivamente volvería a ser parte del equipo del hostel ❤️‍🩹

Fui muito feliz no hostel como voluntaria, equipe maravilhosa e aprendi muitas coisas! Felipe é um anfitrião muito flexível e sempre muito disponível para qualquer coisa que os voluntários precisam. O trabalho é sempre muito bem instruído e os funcionários sempre estão dispostos a tirar dúvidas. Me conectei com muitas pessoas , aproveitei o rio e fui muito feliz! o hostel virou tanto minha casa que com menos de uma semana já estou voltando.

Voluntariar dos meses en el hostel Bar fue una experiencia increíble. Desde el primer día me sentí bienvenida y parte del equipo. Quiero destacar especialmente el trabajo de Santi, Fabio y Felipe: siempre atentos, organizados, con buena vibra y haciendo que cada turno fuera divertido y fluido. Aprendí mucho, conocí personas increíbles y siempre me sentí apoyada. Gracias a todo el equipo por hacer de este lugar un hogar y por tantos momentos hermosos. Recomiendo esta experiencia al 100%. Gracias por todo, el hostel! ❤️

Es un lugar con mucha magia donde el nombre del hostel es exactamente igual a su energía. Todas las personas desde los dueños, los trabajadores, voluntarios y hasta los huéspedes tienen la misma linda energía. Está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la playa, de lugares locales deliciosos para comer, de Río en todo su esplendor. Hay muchas actividades por hacer, tours con Larissa la mejor guía, fiestas, clases de baile, los almuerzos deliciosos Lulu. Lo recomiendo 100% y espero volver muy pronto.

Como siempre digo el hostel se ha convertido para mi en mi segunda casa, siempre me reciben con los brazos abiertos, las experiencias año tras año suelen ser cada vez mejores, la casa tiene mejoras constantemente para la comodidad del viajero. Vas a aprender mucho acá y conocer gente maravillosa de todas partes del mundo, siempre hay muy buen ambiente en la casa y mucha diversión!
