About the experience in: Gerês, Portugal
Canada
The work is super easy, and the hours are always respected. Also, you get the same 2 consecutive days off each week. The bedrooms and the volunteer bathroom could be improved, as it was very, very dirty and uncomfortable when we first arrived. Everyone was really nice! The workers, hosts and most volunteers did speak Spanish a lot (understandable), so it made it hard to be included in conversations at times. There was also no free tours, none of us volunteers got that during my stay. There are lots of hikes, waterfalls, lagoons, and a lake close by! Perfect for disconnecting and relaxing!
