The experience

We are looking for someone that can help us construct some furniture and renovate our hostel. We would like to organize in a different way our storing cabinets and create a place for volunteers. There are many things that we can do together and all ideas are welcome! All tools will be provided.

We also ask your help with daily activities like keeping the hostel clean and tidy and help us with check-in.


What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner Italian or Intermediate English

Between 22 and 46 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We will have to create a space that combines the needs of stocking some work material with 2 beds for volunteers. we have to find a smart idea like minivan style. I will also be happy to offer my support on this projest, but Ideally I would like someone with some experience for those kind of carpenteering work

Activities & Shift

morning: breakfast, cleaning and guests check-out

afternoon/evening:
manual activities and check-in

Shifts are flexible and can be arranged among staff and volunteers

Rules

Be nice with guests
Keep the host informed about guest's behaviour
Be available on phone, when you are awake of course!
Have fun, but do not get too drunk
Make sure you and the guests smoke outside
