I think Patrick is a good person, I'm very grateful for everything I learned on the farm, such as cutting wood, learning about plants and how to conserve them better. However, I feel that Patrick should improve the cleanliness of his surroundings. I understand and respect his way of thinking, but I believe that could be improved. On the last day, he had a problem with his car and got angry, which made me feel uncomfortable since it wasn't my fault. I decided to leave walking, as I don't like bad energies.

This experience was fun. The host very nice, appreciative and had a lot to talk about. You do need to be aware that it's really an experience that you don't usually have. Wash with a bucket, dry toilet, electricity is used based on how much sun there is, that means not getting to wash your clothes if there is not enough sun. Personnaly, I knew what I was getting into, having to re-use dirty clothes for some days and not always being clean. It is eye opening and an all out good experience. Would definitely recommend if you are ready for those things.

1 month stay: Place: calm, picturesque. Hills, the river is near, fresh air, no neighbors; cows and lovely dogs. Good if you want to reconnect with yourself. As it's eco-farm - located far away from city. But each week Patrick took me there to go shopping, eat out. Patrick took me to his friends, to the local market, to bars; offered me drinks; we went on a walk by foot to the mountains. - cons: misunderstanding and conflicts. Patrick is rude sometimes, frustrated easily, straight-forward. Blames you and defends himself, even if no need. The house has rules. But it`s nice experience

Anastasia helped me a lot during her stay and I even extended it, yes it's true there are rules, it's normal when you live close to nature you try to waste as little as possible, as is written in the summer there is more electricity than in the winter because the days are longer and so too there are rules for the heat in the house which is designed to be heated as much as possible by the sun in winter and so the best thing is to air it in the morning so that during the day the house can regain heat, also there are plants to purify, I write this so that the next are already warned and there will be no need to repeat this. ..

I stayed with Patrick for 4 weeks. During that time I learned a lot about animals, food, nature and other things. It was a great experience to live without modern commodities and have mostly everything self sustained. If you want to get away and get close to nature and to see how it is to live off the land I would highly recommend. Patrick is also very friendly and knows a lot about everything and is very interesting. Overall it was a really good experience

Give this place a go! I stayed for about 10 days with Patrick and really enjoyed my time. The work is fair and rewarding, and there is always good food to eat. What I will say to future travellers is to stick it out: I didn't know what to think of the place on the first day, but I came to love it and could have stayed for a lot longer. If you are someone who is ready to approach it with a good attitude, then this place is amazing!! Patrick also took me into two different cities and showed me all around the area which was great!!

Patrick is a really nice person with a lot of stories to tell. The place is surrounded with beautiful nature, and spending time taking care of the animals was awesome. You need to be aware that this kind of experience is not for everyone, since you'll be living without modern amenities, but it's an adventure and you will learn a lot of stuff.

How can I put it... It was exactly what I expected for my first experience! The place is in the middle of nowhere, in the Romanian mountains, it's very quiet and relaxing. Patrick is a perfect host, it feels like home, and he likes to spend time with his guests, talk about his stories and teach some working techniques! I learned a lot from him about the different ways of life, the work, the use of certain plants, the care of the animals... The tasks were not difficult and quite interesting! I'm already planning to go in the spring! Thanks for everything Patrick, see you soon :) !

If you don't mind being without the commodities of a "modern life", like winning water you could apply. The space is nice with some animals as we can check in the photos, it's far from the village and even far from the closest town, making the access in and out very complicated. The activities you will perform change a bit during the year, like cutting wood only in the autumn/winter. There are some that are recurrent like cleaning and feeding the animals and taking water from the sink. The tasks are not well defined and the hours also, give you flexibility, but also uncertainly...

Hey guys so at this place you have to be ready to take a shower with a 2 liter of pepsi cut in half and to be around a place that is not the cleanest. The host is a very nice guy he got a lot of stories to tell you and he is resourceful. After cleaning the farm you see him da lot of different things like welding, gardening, digging and lots of other stuff.
