It was my first volunteer work experience and I loved it! Luis is very friendly and made us feel at home. The hacienda is beautiful and there is always something to do. I would definitely recommend it

Really beautiful place with beautiful people. I would've wished for better and more fluid communication before and during the stay. This is especially important for single people travelling from far away, or those who don't speak Spanish. It is important to feel safe and to be able to count on the agreements made beforehand. I ended up cutting my stay short, and maybe I didn't have enough time to figure things out. All together it was a wonderful experience, and all the people living there are great.

I spent three weeks at the Hacienda and I had a very great time! The Hacienda is a lovely place surrounded by nature and you live among the dogs. You meet travellers from all around the world, share everything with them and make friends for life! What I enjoyed the most was the daily life as a community. But Luis isn't always there for his volunteers and because of the pre-rainy season, the work was boring and repetitive (we had big water problems and the shower didn't work). I didn't get to take care of the animals and only did maintenance of the Hacienda. It's a nice place anyway! :)

The days I spent in the Hacienda were very special. I met great people from different countries and I connected a lot with the lovely local people who live and work across the road, in the small shop. The dogs in the hacienda are very cute and the nature atmosphere is wonderful. I just got a bit disappointed with the internet (which is very bad) as I work remotely to my country and I need a good Wi-Fi. So I had to work at the shop across the road. Also, the water at the shower was cold, which was very hard for really cold days. With few adjustments, I think it will be an amazing place 🙂

Fue una experiencia increíble! El lugar es precioso, rodeado de naturaleza y muy bien integrado en ella, así como con los perros y el resto de animales. La hacienda tiene un montón de espacios diferentes lo que te permite leer, estar contigo mismo, hacer deporte o socializar con el resto de voluntarios. La organización de tareas es muy buena, y se adapta también a las sugerencias y habilidades de los voluntarios. La comida es vegetariana con productos locales de proximidad y hay tiendas y restaurantes en el propio pueblo si se quiere conseguir otro tipo de comida. Regresaré seguro!

Ser voluntaria en la ecovila ha sido de lo mejor. El lugar es hermoso, lleno de naturaleza, y el ambiente es súper acogedor. Desde el primer día me sentí como en casa, rodeada de gente increíble y aprendiendo un montón. Las tareas eran variadas: cuidar perritos, limpiar, preparar cosas y echar una mano en lo que hiciera falta. Luis, el anfitrión, es buena onda y siempre intenta ser de apoyo en cualquier situación. Si buscas un voluntariado donde conectes con la naturaleza, los animales y gente increíble, este es el lugar. Lo recomiendo al 100%!

Ótima experiência para quem gosta da vida bem roots. O trabalho é realmente voltado para a manutenção da fazenda e cuidado com os animais (25 cachorros, cavalos e burro). A fazenda fica quase completamente na liderança dos voluntários então para fazer acontecer depende da comunicação entre todos que estão hospedados lá e da boa vontade de cada um. O ideal seria um gerente para fazer a ponte entre Luis e todos os voluntários. O lugar é lindo mas a infraestrutura precisa ser mais bem cuidada. Luis é super flexível e compreensível.

Mi estadía en la hacienda fue de lo más agradable. La hacienda es un lugar muy lindo y el ambiente que se genera es comunitario. Me encanta que los lugares donde compartir sean al aire libre, se cocina afuera y se come afuera. Los horarios de trabajo son flexibles y Luis es muy amable y comprensivo. Tuve que cambiar mi fecha de salida y no hubo ningún problema. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Un lugar demasiado agradable para conectar con la naturaleza y los animales, siempre buena disposición por parte de Luis y Mini para que todo funcione bien. Un lugar ideal para desconectarse y estar en calma
