Volunteer and Join Our London Crew
The experience
Our hostel is a without doubt a home away from home. Our volunteers help out 23hrs a week - Assisting our receptionists, with check ins/outs, general housekeeping, overnight reception and social activities. In exchange, we will provide you with free accommodation, laundry, 3 free dinners, plenty of parties, WiFi and nothing but great vibes. If you are a cleaning wizard, a social butterfly and a fabulous team player, then we are looking for YOU!
What you offer
23 hours of help per week
Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
What you get
3 days off per week
Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Requirements
Intermediate English or Fluent English
Between 19 and 30 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
What's not included
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
What you get: This position is NOT for someone just looking just for a bed in London. We are looking for genuine backpackers who are interested in meeting fellow travelers, making friends for life and individuals who also are down to party a few nights a week! Work hard, play hard it's how we roll.
High communication is key in this role; we train you guys in all aspects of the hostel.
We are searching for individuals who can think on their own feet, as our hostel is fast paced and social. You will have a mix of shifts, therefore no day is ever the same.
You will get a full experience, learning from the best and just having an overall great time.
If you consider yourself super social, don't mind cleaning bathrooms then we are looking for you!
Activities & Shift
Our volunteers typically help out around 6 hours each day, 4 days a week. You will be assisting our receptionists, with check ins/outs, housekeeping and overnight reception.
Shifts include:
X1 Nightshift
x1 Party or Day walk or Cooking shift (social activity)
x1 Evening or Morning Reception helper shift -with general spot cleaning of common rooms and bathrooms + helping with laundry
x1 - Bed Shift - strip and make beds
There is a one month minimum commitment to our volunteer program

Many worldpackers have been applying to this position recently. The host will probably not be able to respond to all of the applications, so we recommend that you also apply to other hosts in our community and not just this one :)
