Is a great place for everyone that wants to improve their english and meet new people. You can find people from all around the world. The environment here is really friendly and the manager Rey is so cool, she is very warm and understanding. She and the rest of the volunteers make the place to be very comfortable and happy. I stayed here more than 3 months and absolutely felt like home. The task are easy to do, and you have more shifts and different work if you need a little change. The place was awesome. Totally love it

My time in the hostel has been absolutely incredible. I have made friends for life, and I could not have wished for a better time!! Rei is a wonderful manager, she's the best 🫶🏻 everything corresponds to what is said on Worldpackers, and the guesthouse is ideally located in the hostel, so you can go there without worries. Thank you so much for everything, I am so grateful for this experience, and I hope to go back whenever I can!! Rei and the other volunteers made my time in the hostel so valuable ❤️

I've stayed at the hostel for a month as my first worldpackers experience and It couldn't have been better! David and Rei are super kind and available, they listen to all the needs of the travellers and they are open to changes on the work schedule. The tasks are simple and the work is effectively 2 h per day. I had the opportunity to meet fantastic people from all over the world and visit the city thanks to the proximity of public transports from the guesthouse. If you appreciate the city nightlife and nature at the same time the hostel is definitely worth discovering!

I had an incredible time at the hostel! It was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't ask for a better one. Rei is an amazing manager and everyone works together to create a nice environment. The team was also fantastic, and I met awesome people that became good friends. The working hours are fair, and the job is assigned every day, so it can be flexible about what you are more comfortable doing. The location is really good: close to the station, which makes it really easy to go around; and with several convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. Can't recommend enough!

Staying in the care of both Rei and Ji Hoon (I hope this is how you write it in english...) was like staying at my home abroad. Whenever there was a problem, the staff (fellow volunteers and host) took care of it as a Team. Rei and Ji Hoon both care about us Volunteers and in return for their fairness and kindness, we all did the job that was assigned to us. I was very happy and lucky to stay at the hostel as it was my first experience as a Volunteer. And if you want to experience the night life of Seomyeon/the hostel you should definitely come to this guesthouse.

I have said many goodbyes throughout my life but the one with the hostel staff (Rei, Jihoon and David) and the other volunteers was especially hard. Rei is super fun and kind always doing her best to make everyone feel welcome and accomodate our needs. Staying at the hostel is one of the best decisions I've ever made. It was my first volunteering experience so I didn't know what to expect but everything was beyond everything I could have imagined. I made friends that I am planning to visit and meet again soon, I found a sister and friend in Rei and a home in the hostel.

I really enjoyed my time at Kimchi Guesthouse :) It was my first volunteering experience in South Korea and the work was just as described in the profile! (2h / 5 days a week) David and Rei give everybody a warm welcome as soon as you step in the hostel and I felt very comfortable here. If you're looking for a chill place to make some friends in the hostel, this is the place to be :) A special shoutout goes out to Rei for always being so patient with us volunteers and spreading positive vibes even when she's been awake for more than 24h. Definitely coming around again if the chance arises xx

This was my first volunteering experience, and it was so good that by the end of it, I was sad to leave. The hostel was the biggest one I'd stayed in. For a volunteer, 8 floors might sound daunting, but the hours were exactly as agreed upon. 2h per day in the hostel with the best atmosphere- the fun and friendly staff, volunteers, and multitude of guests- it was more fun to just chill with everyone at the hostel than go sightseeing. The location was perfect for nightlife and convenient for the metro. An entire month sounded too long at first, but I miss it already. I would 100% do it again.
