I found a community that made me feel seen and heard at DM. I loved connecting with nature through serving. I learned so much by just watching people (and insects!) at DM be themselves and by sharing the rich stories of their lives :) The staff was AMAZING (Maya, Jack, Kaia, Steven), very thoughtful, understanding, caring, and FUN! Hanlie and Kat worked behind the scenes to make sure every transition and the logistics ran smoothly-that is the type of care that is felt only when it comes from great leaders. Here's to hoping our paths cross again in the future!

I had a great experience at Diamond Mountain that I will never forget. I met some amazing people (both staff and volunteers), got to witness and experience the beauty of the area, and learned so many valuable lessons. Carolyn is the most compassionate person I've ever met who taught me so much and whom I shared many laughs and fun times hanging out with. This trip was perfect for my first worldpackers trip amd makes me want to not only explore more but to come back to Diamond Mountain

DM was my first volunteering adventure, everything about this place is amazing; the people are so welcoming and they are very open to answering questions, the tasks were easy and flexible when unexpected situations occurred. It was an awesome place to start off and I sure learned a lot and made great connections, I hope to be back soon. I love you all !!

Hanlie and the rest of the staff at Diamond Mountain were incredibly accommodating and friendly! The living situation was both comfortable and social - I was provided with a private bedroom in a house shared with another volunteer. The work opportunities are varied and interesting; I did interior painting, gardening, and cleaning. Staff and other volunteers led yoga classes, meditation, and Buddhist teachings, which we were encouraged to participate in. Hanlie and staff made logistics a breeze as well by picking up and dropping off at the Tucson airport.
