Help in our cellar and vineyard near Ronda, Andalusia
The experience
This volunteering is based on giving support and help in the production of wines in the
cellar as well as all cleaning tasks.
It is a good opportunity for someone interested in the world of wine, wanting to learn
more about the process of wine production, this year we are going to experiment with
many grape varieties and different production techniques.
Previous knowledge is not required but helpful.
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:

Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Hiking Tours:

You can use our bikes any time you want.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements
Intermediate Spanish or Intermediate English
Between 20 and 32 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
You will be immerse in nature, a bit off grid, our place is a perfect place to be calm and
connect with nature, disconnect from all the cities.
The main task we need help in the production of wines in the cellar as well as all cleaning
tasks.
Activities:
- Setting up the winery and preparation for receiving grapes
- Unloading the grapes, weighing them and organising the boxes for easy handling
•Sorting the grapes on a sorting table
- Pressing or stomping the grapes
- Handling the grape must
- Filling tanks

- The complete process how to make wine from grapes
- How fermentation works
- What challenges are there producing wine and how to overcome them
- Getting exclusive insights of wine making techniques
- Learning about varieties and wines of Andalucia and learn how to distinguish them
- Learning about the Andalucia as a wine producing state
Activities & Shift
You will be expected to work 6 hours a day, 5 days a weeks. 2 Days off.
We require flexibility, as we depend on the the ripening process of the grapes and the
availability of our farmers to do the harvest.
Cellar schedule are rotational, morning or afternoons. Also, In rotation we will take care
of the common spaces at the volunteer home cleaning and do laundry.
Rules
Drinking wine or other alcohol and / or smoking weed during volunteering hours is strictly prohibited.
