Even though I arrived during a quieter period, I had a good time at the Center Centre. The hosts treated me really well, always having incredible film-like stories to tell and always having time to teach me plenty of practical things I'll carry with me. The place is cosy; the surrounding Tuscan villages are breathtaking. It's even close enough to the beach to go by bike! A word of advice for future volunteers: you should be ready to lend a hand, to dare to do things before dismissing them and be curious. I went away with the feeling that I could have learned more.

I had a lovely time in Tuscany. Samarona was a very welcoming host and made me feel like I fit right in. The work was very flexible in the hours you wanted to complete it and there was a huge variety of things to do so the work never became tedious or boring. I'm also a person with very little knowledge/experience of outdoor or farm work but Samarona was very helpful in teaching me new skills.

The Center of Dhara and Samarona is amazing! I felt at home. It's more like living together and doing things together (gardening, kitchen things, olive trees, cleaning,…) when a the Center group comes you need to be surrounded and it might be a bit busier. The day is full of doing things, but on your day off you can do some activities. The stories from Dhara and Samarona are very interesting - so ask (but don't argue). They have their own opinions and strict idea of what happens when and how. It's an amazing place so be in nature,.. Dhara did a the Center with us almost every day✨

I had a very enjoyable stay. While there were a few moments of communication challenges with the hosts, they were always warm, kind, and made every effort to ensure we felt comfortable. Tasks wise, my only complaint is regarding the cooking. It is true that we had to cook full meals which I personally wasn't prepared for. Otherwise, the tasks were very simple! The facilities were lovely, well-maintained, and offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location, while it may be an issue for some, was a highlight for us. Surrounded by breathtaking nature, it provided a perfect escape.

I enjoyed my time at the Center. I had the chance to meet some lovely people from all over the world; also, Samarona has lots of interesting stories to tell, and you can have a good conversation with him. I also enjoyed the guided meditations, we had the chance to take part every night. The hosts like things done a certain way and sometimes it can feel like you're not appreciated for completing a task because you haven't done it well enough. Dhara will make her unhappiness known if you displease her. But overall, I think this experience is worthwhile! The surrounding nature is lovely

I am truly grateful for the experience I had at the Center Niversha! The other volunteers really made my time there incredible s2 During my stay we mostly focused on olive picking which was so cool and the hosts were kind enough to both take us to the mill to see the processing of olives into oil and to give all of us a travel size bottle with the olive oil we made. The farm is far from any city, about 9 miles from Cecina. Doable by bicycle but not super convenient. The time in nature was really beneficial for me but I think if other volunteers hadn't been present, I would have felt lonely.

The experience was decent the jobs weren't too strenuous. And when a group is in it's all hands on deck. Wished there would have been more the Center to practice. Overall it's a decent place to be just required alot of hours from you

At the beginning, I felt uncomfortable at the new place - the host has very strong opinions and from my perspective had to complain a lot. I didn't know what I am allowed to do or say - but then I learned that it is okay to say that I disagree with him. I really had to get used to his character and I can understand if that is a problem for others. What else? - property is so beautiful! - bikes & cat - villages are adorable - working hours are respected - no WIFI in your room - you will be able to cook! - in winter, all volunteers share a room - floors are cold in winter Thank you D & S 💖

This was my first stop on my work-and-travel adventure and I couldn't imagine a better one. The two hosts are really warm-hearted and nice people, with a lot of life experiences. They always care for every volunteer and talk a lot with you. They make the place feel like a home. The jobs were not too hard and you can often decide yourself wich task you want to do. If you plan something or need time for something personal, you can always talk to the host and arrange it c: All in all a really good experience for me. I loved the place and the people were and will never forget this experience 🫶
