The experience

Am an ex-street boy, after being rescued by the music, I decided to form a project that would help transform the children still leaving on the street going through the same things that I went through and the most disadvantaged young people, with the aim of using music as a tool to help them become skilled, productive and self-sustainable to overcome poverty through skills empowerment for social transformation.

What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Program Details

Saved by Music Foundation is a registered as a non-government community based organization and was started by ex-street children with the aim of helping vulnerable children (many of which are street children) and those coming from the poorest families in the community so that they become skilled, productive and self-sustainable to overcome poverty through skills empowerment for social transformation.



Many of the children go on streets because either their all or one of their parents died of AIDS and other related and tropical diseases or because they are abused by their parents due to the high level irresponsible drinking of alcohol that render these parents being not in control of providing the necessary basic family needs hence children resort to streets in search of a living.

Activities & Shift

We need music, arts and dance teachers........Our foundation aims to offer a high quality standard of living to the disadvantaged children and total orphans through proving for them shelter, food, clothing, medical care and high quality education and equipping them with skills that can grant them a competitive living in this world. We tend to completely bridge the gap between children with no parents and those children with parents.

We recently bought land and doing some digging on it as we prepare to start construction of our home for street children. We call upon anyone who can help with doing some crop planting and construction.
