I had a great time at the surf camp and met so many wonderful people. The community there is really something special and the surf camp always provides a range of social activities. The work was very nice and Grace was good at making a plan for the week. Prepare to always be sweaty and never fully clean. There are some things that could be improved but overall I had a really good time at the surf camp.

Unfortunately my experience wasn't good at the surf camp. The reason for this was probably the amount of volunteers. There were too many Volunteers and not enough food, place in the Shuttle etc. The vibe was odd, the stuff was very rude (couldn't ask a normal questions without them being rude or offended by a simple question lol) It's really dirty and moldy and very disorganized. It's a good Place to meet Young travellers from all around the world, especially if You like partying. If you don't drink alcohol, this place is defenetely not for you. If you only care about partying, this is for you

Hey there, I spent 3 weeks in the surf camp with my girlfriend. We had actually planned to stay for 5 weeks, but left beforehand. We weren't also the only ones either, in fact we rarely noticed that anyone stayed there until the end of their planned stay, which would give anyone planning to go there pause for thought. The main Reason I see for this is that the surf camp is unfortunately very much only about money. They try to save money on the volunteers at every turn! (Be prepared to get like nothing basically to eat) Real cant recommend

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. As a solo traveller it was a great opportunity to meet other people and continue your travels together. The people do make the place, and I've gained so many new friends from this experience. I do think that you should know what to expect, though. The living conditions can be a bit rusty and not for everyone (20 people mixed dorm, dust everywhere, bugs, only cold showers etc.). Also, the food lacks variety (rice and beans everyday). Tamarindo is a fun little town, but can become boring after some time which is why some people left early.

The surf camp was a great experience! I think it was all about social interaction and the people we meet. Felt like summer camp but for adult. You really live in the Forest and hear the monkeys scream at night!

In Total was Okay. Everything was kind of dirty but after a few days you get used to it. The task you got was really easy and didn't take that much time. That was good. If you want to drink and party everyday, this is your place to go. If not than I wouldn't.

I got to know so many people, it's a great place to go if you're looking for travel buddies! Because there are so many people you learn so many new things as well, like travel tips, games, and even countries. The camp itself was amazing as well, being social is a must to stay in the dorms. Maybe plan a few daytrips when you go there because you really only go to beaches. But a fun experience nontheless! I had a great time.

I had an absolutely amazing time at the surf camp, I made some of my best friends and it was a lovely, exciting experience that I wouldn't change for the world. Just make sure you're ready for the bugs, mold from the weather and lots of partying <33
