Full time staff for our hostel in Hvar, Croatia for summer

The hostel is a great place to stay. Hvar island is impressively beautiful and peaceful. Bartul is a great host. He's funny, patient understanding and is always willing to help the volunteers. I stayed before the season starts, so I didn't learn about the hostel routine, but the job is not difficult. The rooms and common areas are easy to clean and maintain. Also, Silvia is lovely and works hard. Bartul's parents took me as part of their own family, so I felt like I was home. I absolutely recommend anyone to volunteer there. I miss Hvar and hope to come back one day!

The island is amazing and in the hostel you can meet people from all over the world! The task was easy to do and it was everyday the same. About the experience, there is no family feeling at all, It's more like an easy job than a volunteering experience. I was supposed to have comisions from the bars but that didn't happen and I recomend to talk everything in detail with Bartul before going, to avoid missunderstandings. Bartul and the rest of the staff were nice and respetfull all the experience.

In the hostel was a beautiful volunteer, I felt very comfortable, the hostel is very nice and with a very good location! They have several environments in common where it is very easy to make friends and with free shots every night! happy with the working hours, it is very practical to clean!

In general it was a good experience, I was looking for a quiet place where to spend the season, the tasks were easy to do and only a few hours a day Bartul and Veronika always have good availability to help the volunteer ..Thanks for everything ;)

I had a blast working with them! People were really friendly, the work and hours where good! You can stay in the hostel and interact with the guests! It was the perct summer volunteer

The hours of work are pretty fair, 3h per day and nothing else. The kind of work is a little bit hard tho, because you need to clean lots of bedrooms and bathrooms in a short time. The location of the hostel is good, but as staff you need to stay in a house 10 minutes walking from the hostel, what separates you from the guests. About the staff: there is only 2 volunteers, the other staff are all proper workers, so anyone there is really interested on being your friend. Go to enjoy Hvar, but not to live a big hostel experience.

My exprience en Hostel Vila the hostel was great, staff is amazing and I could meet a lot of lovely guest. The tasks are not so heavy and you ony work some hours per day, so is really easy. Bartul is a great host and he give you a lot of facilities to go to meet the place. The only sad was than in the middle of my stady I had to move from the hostel to another apartment, so I couln't continue share with the guests like I did it when I sleeped in the hostel. But the island it's a beautiful place with a awesome beachs. I really recomended this experience.

Apliqué para un puesto en recepción, pero no realicé esa tarea en ningún momento. Aunque colaboré con la limpieza sin problema, la comunicación fue poco clara y el ambiente de trabajo poco respetuoso. El voluntariado terminó antes de tiempo sin explicación, y debí activar la protección de Worldpackers por primera vez. Siento que esta experiencia no representó el espíritu de comunidad y respeto que encontré en otros voluntariados. Comparto esto con la intención de ayudar a otros viajeros a tomar decisiones más informadas. Si alguien quiere conocer más detalles, puede escribirme por MD.

Increíble experiencia en el hostel! El trabajo era sencillo, 3 horas al día limpiando o llevando a los huéspedes de fiesta. El hostel está súper céntrico y puedes explorar Hvar muy fácilmente. Todo el equipo fue encantador! Lo recomiendo!!!
