The experience

Nosotros somos una familia que vivimos en el área rural de Granada Meta, nuestra finca cuenta con variedad de cultivos que salvaguarda nuestra seguridad alimentaria y además nuestra economía; los cultivos con los que contamos son cacao, cítricos, aguacate, coco, papaya, banano, platano, yuca, chontaduro, tomate, pimentón entre otros. Por otro lado criamos gallinas, pollos, patos, y vacas. Aquí podrás tener la experiencia de aprender e interactuar


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.


Requirements

Fluent Spanish or Fluent Spanish

Between 20 and 70 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Activities & Shift

Comienzo de actividades 6 am
Fin de actividades 12 am
Jardinería: regar plantas, abonar, sembrar, podar.
Cosechar, mantenimiento, procesamiento del cacao.
Agricultura en general elaboración de abonos orgánicos, semilleros, transplante, siembra, poda.
Ordeño de vaca y cuidado de animales (gallinas, patos, caballos)
