This experience was amazing, I got to connect introspectively with peace and learnt to meditate. The nature here is breathtaking! Everyone was so welcoming. The tasks are normal, on weekends we had visitors and on the week it was only us volunteers residents and monks. Definitely recommend this to work with peace and service.

If you know Brazilians, you might still haven't felt hospitality at its best at the Temple. Welcomed with a smile by every single person that was there (residents, volunteers, monks, I mean, everyone), and had conversations with such a friendly tone that made it easy (even if you're an introvert) to feel part of the group and long time friend from everyone who's been there long time or recently arrived. Food is always amazing and you have to try their "farofa" - the yummiest. Everyone is open to clarify your doubts about their beliefs plus to have conversations about life or small talk

Despite the ritual and dogmas that make part of any religion, it's a really interesting experience and I am happy that I've been staying about 10 days at the Temple! It's super nice to understand better the routine of the monks and what is their concept of Buddhism. The food was unbelievable tasty and the activities, in general, not that hard. The staff that were organizing the volunteering were not that comprehensive with the people when they're informing about changing of rules and plans.

Minha experiência no cmkb foi incrível, mesmo que o tempo seja curto, é impossível sair de lá a mesma pessoa que chegou. Os aprendizados são muito valiosos, aprendi a Meditar e obtive conhecimentos que vou levar pra vida! Gratidão aos monges, professores e coordenadores por toda receptividade e abertura para ensinamentos.

Fiquei duas semanas no templo e foi incrível! As tarefas envolveram limpeza e refeitório, não são muitas horas por dia (variando entre 5 e 6 horas). O dormitório é compartilhado em até 8 pessoas e os banheiros são estilo vestiário! A comida é perfeita. Eu tive o privilégio de trabalhar e participar de um evento durante meu tempo lá e a experiência foi incrível. Os monges e demais residentes foram extremamente acolhedores e comunicativos. Com certeza recomendo e voltaria!!

Experiência muito boa! Os voluntários residentes e monges são receptivos e sempre dispostos a ajudar, o ambiente de trabalho é bem organizado e a comida muito boa! Gostei especialmente de trabalhar na cozinha e cafeteria. É possível aprender sobre o Budismo o centro Moderno através das aulas e meditações, caso queira. Conheci pessoas incríveis que quero levar pra vida, recomendo o voluntariado lá e com certeza eu voltarei!

Estar no CMK foi muito especial. Desde o contato com a equipe antes de chegar, na chegada, durante a estadia, todos foram super gentis, alegres e acolhedores. O lugar em si traz uma paz imensa, permite uma conexão real com a natureza, com o silêncio, com o espaço, com as outras pessoas. Foi demais aprender sobre o budismo o centro, participar das preces, meditações, realmente poder estar integrada aos ensinamentos da tradição e aprender no dia-a-dia. As tarefas foram bem explicadas e os coordenadores são super solícitos. Todos foram incríveis, voltei com o coração quentinho! Realmente incrível!
