This experience was amazing, I got to connect introspectively with peace and learnt to meditate. The nature here is breathtaking! Everyone was so welcoming. The tasks are normal, on weekends we had visitors and on the week it was only us volunteers residents and monks. Definitely recommend this to work with peace and service.

If you know Brazilians, you might still haven't felt hospitality at its best at the Temple. Welcomed with a smile by every single person that was there (residents, volunteers, monks, I mean, everyone), and had conversations with such a friendly tone that made it easy (even if you're an introvert) to feel part of the group and long time friend from everyone who's been there long time or recently arrived. Food is always amazing and you have to try their "farofa" - the yummiest. Everyone is open to clarify your doubts about their beliefs plus to have conversations about life or small talk

Despite the ritual and dogmas that make part of any religion, it's a really interesting experience and I am happy that I've been staying about 10 days at the Temple! It's super nice to understand better the routine of the monks and what is their concept of Buddhism. The food was unbelievable tasty and the activities, in general, not that hard. The staff that were organizing the volunteering were not that comprehensive with the people when they're informing about changing of rules and plans.

A semana de voluntariado no centro foi uma imersão incrível. A vivência em comunidade, os aprendizados espirituais e a conexão com a natureza foram constantes. Em uma semana a evolução com a prática do centro diária foi grande. O local é bellisimo, tudo muito organizado e tudo muito pontual. Meu trabalho de voluntário foi na cozinha, onde fui muito bem recebido pelo coordenador Bene e o trabalho foi tranquilo. Vale a pena ter essa experiência e passar pelo templo 🙏✨️

Minha experiência foi maravilhosa e transformadora. Aprendi muito em diversas áreas mas principalmente sobre o budismo o centro. As pessoas que coordenam o voluntariado são extremamente atenciosas e pacientes. A comida servida para os voluntários é vegetariana mas é tão deliciosa que você nem sente falta de carne!! Recomendo muito e espero voltar em breve :)

Simplesmente fantástico! Muita gratidão por ter tido essa experiência, sinto que além de aprender bastante em 7 dias, despertei uma vontade imensa de desenvolver mais meu caminho espiritual! O voluntariado no templo me ofereceu uma oportunidade valiosa de reflexão sobre a vida pessoal e conexão com ensinamentos que promovem paz, equilíbrio e bem-estar. O templo é um espaço muito bem cuidado, organizado e acolhedor, o que torna a experiência de voluntariado leve e significativa. As atividades são claras, bem distribuídas e permitem aprender enquanto se contribui de forma prática no dia a dia. A comida é excelente, preparada com atenção e cuidado, o que faz muita diferença na rotina do voluntário. É um lugar ideal tanto para quem já tem alguma vivência quanto para quem está começando no voluntariado.
