This experience was amazing, I got to connect introspectively with peace and learnt to meditate. The nature here is breathtaking! Everyone was so welcoming. The tasks are normal, on weekends we had visitors and on the week it was only us volunteers residents and monks. Definitely recommend this to work with peace and service.

If you know Brazilians, you might still haven't felt hospitality at its best at the Temple. Welcomed with a smile by every single person that was there (residents, volunteers, monks, I mean, everyone), and had conversations with such a friendly tone that made it easy (even if you're an introvert) to feel part of the group and long time friend from everyone who's been there long time or recently arrived. Food is always amazing and you have to try their "farofa" - the yummiest. Everyone is open to clarify your doubts about their beliefs plus to have conversations about life or small talk

Despite the ritual and dogmas that make part of any religion, it's a really interesting experience and I am happy that I've been staying about 10 days at the Temple! It's super nice to understand better the routine of the monks and what is their concept of Buddhism. The food was unbelievable tasty and the activities, in general, not that hard. The staff that were organizing the volunteering were not that comprehensive with the people when they're informing about changing of rules and plans.

Só tenho elogios para minha experiência com o CMK! O pessoal residente e os responsáveis envolvidos foram muito educados e respeitosos todo o tempo. Os monjes são muito legais e simpáticos, é um lugar de paz e me senti muito bem durante meus 10 dias no templo. As tarefas são bem divididas, algumas podendo ser mais cansativas que as outras, mas os horários, intervalos e folgas foram respeitados. Pude participar de um retiro e todas as preces e meditações no templo, o que foi de grande valia para mim. Aproveito para elogiar o Rodrigo, a Iris e a Naná, sempre com uma postura gentil e respeitosa.

Ter retornado ao CMK reforçou e acrescentou os meus ensinamentos budista. Fiquei novamente na cozinha com pessoas incríveis como tudo e todos no Templo é. Os monges são pessoas especiais, carinhosas . O espaço todo é pura natureza, paz , beleza exuberante.. A comida é vegana e delíciosa. Os quartos são acolhedores, banheiros grandes com espelhos, sabonetes líquidos . Tudo é PERFEITO !!

Gostei muito dessa experiência, fiz várias amizades, aprendi nas meditações, vivencia válida pra toda a vida ! Foram dias de paz, aprendizado e conexão com a natureza e comigo mesma. Tudo é organizado e as tarefas divididas. Foi bem movimentado, além do trabalho, participei de meditações e aprendi mais sobre o budismo. As pessoas, tanto residentes quanto voluntários, foram incríveis e me senti muito bem . Recomendo este voluntariado !

Minha experiência no CMK não poderia ter sido melhor! Tive a oportunidade de aprender um pouquinho sobre o budismo, conhecer e trocar experiências com pessoas muito bacanas e ainda contribuir com a manutenção do templo através do trabalho. Desde o momento que cheguei fui muito bem acolhida por todos e a experiência foi muito além das minhas expectativas. Espero ter a oportunidade de voltar em breve e viver novamente o que eu vivi na minha primeira experiência.

Minha experiência foi muito positiva. O alojamento é confortável, as instalações são bem cuidadas e a comida é realmente deliciosa. Foi uma oportunidade especial de vivenciar o ambiente do templo e aprender. Alguns pontos poderiam melhorar, especialmente em relação ao desperdício de comida e práticas de sustentabilidade, que acredito que podem ser facilmente ajustados. O trabalho é intenso: a rotina vai das 09h às 16h30, com pausa para almoço e lanche, e isso acaba deixando pouco tempo e energia para participar das atividades do templo depois do expediente.
