The experience

We are located at the edge of the small village near Adamspeak. One end is a dense tea mountain with a river. Another end is a small peaceful village.

I have a tour and volunteering website and, which specializes in providing language teaching opportunities in rural and beautiful hillside Sri Lanka . Our audience is the Japanese and Europeans, who are looking to support rural education , and learn new teaching experiences abroad

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Occationally i expect if you could share some meal cost when i buy foods for you.Dont worry it is very small amount .

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We are looking for someone who can Develop / promote our websites in Social media and other platforms in your country. Our website is a volunteering program directory website , Most of them are teaching, Animal welfare , Eco projects in South Asia. I expect it to be the no 1 volunteer tourism website in south Asia.

Our team members are Aruna (Kotmale- Agriculture / Website Project), Anoj (Hatton - Website/Teaching project, Dan (Live in Japan) ,

We have many tasks (don't worry if you don't have experience, we will discuss it in a phone call )

ACCOMADATION AND MEALS

Our aim is to make sure all our volunteers are comfortable and happy. You will be given a separate room, and all the necessities in our apartment
You will have full access to all amenities of the house including kitchen, modern toilet & shower (with hot water), washing machine, and freeWi-Fi.
We can cook the meals as you prefer .

HOW TO GET THERE ?

Kandy- Hatton - to Kotagala by Railway or bus then 8km towrds ''Rawanagoda '' and i will come to you and pick you up
Colombo - Hatton - Kotagala By train or AC bus
Ella- Kotagala via direct train
I will give you google direction link once we connected

WORKING AND LIFESTYLE WITH US

Basically you will have time off from Monday to Friday in the morning, You can start working in the evening, 25 hours a week. .
You will be given guidance, so don't worry if you are new ,
During weekends, I arrange trips to the nearby forests , so you can join
We like 80s, 70s music, so we will have good time here
