Program Details
Visitors, spend about half of each day helping out on a host farm, learn about the organic movement and sustainable agriculture, and receive room and board during their visit – with no money exchanged between Hosts and visitors. This is an educational and cultural exchange program. And it is also a way to learn practical organic farming & gardening skills, be part of the organic agriculture movement, and experience the heart of its culture.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers are usually live with the host and are expected to join in and cooperate with the day to day activities. In most countries the exchange is based on 4-6 hours help-fair exchange for a full day’s food and accommodation.
Rules
The volunteers are not allowed to walk lonely during night time without permission from the host.
