Staying in Daejeon with this host has truly been a wonderful and unforgettable experience. This is my first solo trip outside of the country, and I was given much care. Communication was always open and friendly. I truly recommend joining here for anyone who wants a relaxing experience in a quiet city while helping the local community with their life aspirations.

My stay at the language studio was very pleasant. The accommodation was comfortable, and I had a great time with my roommates. Whenever we ran out of food, Russell restocked it quickly, which was fantastic. He was also genuinely polite and kind, making the working atmosphere lively and enjoyable. The work itself was fascinating and fun, but not too time-consuming. I met people from all kinds of careers, had many chances to socialize, and fully experienced Korean the coliving. I highly recommend this studio for a memorable and rewarding experience!

I volunteered for 3 weeks at a Langsyoung in Daejeon, SK and it was such a meaningful and enjoyable experience. Russell was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. He truly cared about the volunteers, even going out of his way to make my birthday special by surprising me with cake and ice cream, which meant a lot to me!The volunteering work itself was flexible, fun, and engaging. I had the chance to have interesting conversations with well-educated people. The environment was relaxed and respectful, and I always felt valued for the time and energy I contributed.I would definitely recommend

This wasu first volunteering experience and I couldn't be happier. Russell is an amazing host, everything was clearly communicated and communication was strong through my whole experience. I really enjoyed the language studio as there is a broad spectrum of ages, reasons to study and I doing everyone to be engaging and really immersed in the experience. I would highly recommend this place for meeting people, locals and other travellers.

My experience in Daejeon was really good. The city itself is very chill and well connected so it's super easy to go and visit another city whilst using Daejeon as a base. The volunteers create the rota so you can request the days off that you want. Russell is really friendly and make sure you have everything for your stay. He provides food upon request so you can cook meals for yourself. The work itself is pretty easy but I would recommend it for more extroverted people as you do have to keep a conversation going with someone for 50 mins

We spent 2 weeks here and enjoyed it a lot. The volunteers make the schedule so you can decide what days you work, and it's in a great area to do day trips to other places. The work is fun and the students you talk to are very interested to hear about your lives. Just fyi - it is you leading the conversation for 50 mins. It is an informal chat so you don't get “trained” and aren't a “teacher”. So you need to be an extrovert that likes to listen and talk. But the chat is very enjoyable :) Daejeon has amazing hiking just 30 mins away, the best and cheapest thrift shops, amazing bakeries.

An amazing oportunity. The job was so easy going and I learned a lot about korean the coliving with the students. The food provided by Russell was good and it was so good to have a full equiped kitchen. The rest of the volunteers were amazing and I made really good the coliving here. I loved the experience and I fully recommend it:)

Volunteering was very good, you can learn much more from Korean the coliving, and improve my level of conservation in English. The lodging has what it takes to have a good time, with a good location with other volunteers. You need to be a social person to be able to talk about different topics with people from different ages and interests.
