I stayed with Russell on short notice and for 2 weeks. It was an amazing experience and I am so glad I did it. He was so kind and caring, being a Muslim he respected the way I did things or tried his best to learn and accommodate me accordingly. I met amazing people during my time there and made friendships and memories I know that will last. The place itself is a nice one to live in and the work is interesting and easy going. I would recommend this to anyone looking to gain experience if you want to this is a good place for you! Thank you again Russell I will be back ! 🥹

My time at the language studio the guest house was absolutely wonderful! Even though I was able to join for only 2 weeks, I've had the chance to experience lots of interesting and fun conversations with locals while simultaneously learn about the Korean culture and everyday life. Russell is a great host who is very attentive, kind and always happy to help. I felt very welcomed and would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is seeking a unique travel experience. Would 100% do this again :) Thank you so much for everything Russell!

Staying the guest house studio the guest house was a great experience for me. During work I met a lot of interesting people and managed to get some new friends that are both Korean and foreign. Beside work I had enough time to explore Daejeon or even visit other cities. The host here is a good person that tries to make things work for everyone involved. He is also a good person to ask for advice if you have any trouble or if you just want some traveling recommendations. Overall this was a good experience that I will never forget.

Russell was a sweet guy. It felt a bit of lacking communication at the beginning but it all worked out great. The volunteers and the students I met there are all very nice people whom I got close with very quickly. Since only simple food is provided there and working hours are mostly in the evening, people traveling under budget might find it difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle. But in the end it all can be solved with planning ahead.

I had a great time here! Russel is wonderful and really cares about us. I met such amazing people from all over the world I'll be friends with the rest of my life. It's a great place to go and relax in a more quiet area of Korea, and is in a good location if you want to travel around to different cities. The accommodation is a bit cramped, but other than that, I don't have any complaints.

Russell was a really great and kind host. He helped us a lot with getting everything for the accomodation and the work was very great. I would definitely recommend this job because you meet a lot of locals and you can make a lot of friends. It is also really nice to learn about the Korean culture!

Russell is a wonderful host, the work is very endearing and rewarding! The students are good people, I wish I could have helped more had I stayed longer. The accommodation is good, warm, the setting is near a little stream, I recommend going there for a walk. There is everything you need nearby (convenient stores, and a big mall 20 minutes walk down the river). If you stay there for a while and want to take a look around Daejeon, I recommend taking the bus, many visiting spots are at bus/subway-range. Again, if you need anything ask Russell and he will provide!
