The experience
By working at one of our hostels, you are helping AMI’s (Foundation for International Medical Assistance) social equipment nationally and also contributing to local projects in Africa, Asia, Central, and South America. Join this great mission and help us with check-ins & check-outs, booking systems, payments, guest assistance, and general cleaning & tidying.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Night Shift:
Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Requirements
Intermediate English or Intermediate Portuguese
Over 18 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
What's not included
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Activities & Shift
During the week, you are going to help after 6pm depending on the team schedule. Our reception is open from Monday to Friday, so we sincerely ask for your help on weekends.
