I did love my time at Palermo! Fabio is such a nice person and I have no words to thank Katia for the way she treated us and take care of all our needs. The work is really easy and won't take more than 3h wich gives you plenty time to explore Palermo, the amazing beaches around and small villages. It's amazing to have a kitchen for us to preapare our meals. The room have aircon wich helps a lot with this hot weather and a fridge. The hostel location was not the expected as it's a bit away from the center and from the port area but there's the bus or it's always a nice walk. I did feel at home!

The work isn't difficult. The room was a mess and smelled really bad.

Fábio is a great person, very patient and helpful. The tasks are simple and does not take much time of the day. The negative point for me was the difficulty of combinate the free time with some trips. They do not have a defined work schedule. And also, I was quite alone before another Worldpackers arrived. Palermo may seem strange at first glance, but it has beautiful places and other nearby towns to visit. Overall it was a great experience.

Great experience at the host ! Fabio is extremely nice and I felt welcome straight from the beginning. I lived in one of the actual hotel rooms - with air conditioning, an own bathroom and a small kitchen. I always worked in the morning; preparing breakfast and then cleaning the bedrooms. The work was pretty easy and it took me only between 2-3 hours, so PLENTY of time to discover Sicily :) ! It's a beautiful island and I am so glad that I've decided to spend this July there!

During the 2 weeks in Palermo, my first Worldpackers experience at the host made this summer one of the coolest ones (not in terms of the weather, though). Fabio and Daniela are amazing, super nice, friendly and funny people. I didn't have to work too much, so I had plenty of time to visit the city and some small towns around. Thanks to Worldpackers, I had an opportunity to discover the Sicilian culture, lifestyle, and cuisine (!!!) and also to meet new people. I would highly recommend this place to every worldpacker, and will be happy to be back there:)

I was a good experience at the host. I worked during the mornings with Daniela (a lovely italian person). The work wasn't difficult and I had plenty of time to visit Sicily during the afternoon and night. I recommend this hotel for someone who is interested in knowing better the culture of Italy.

This was my first worldpackers experience and in general it was a very good one. The tasks at the hotel and the collaboration with the staff was very chill. Fabio tries to always put two worldpackers at the same time which id really good. Because the host is a hotel, you don't really meet a lot of youngsters there. So it was nice to have another worldpacker! Conclusion: good hotel, chill work, nice people, 30 minutes walk to the center but easy to get there, and once you take your time to apreciate here Palermo is a realy nice city.

It's been a great experience! Fabio and Daniela were super nice and helpful. We (my friend and I) only worked for 3-4 hours in the morning and had plenty of time to discover Palermo and the area. There is a wonderful terrace where we used to hang out in the evening. Overall, we learnt more about Sicilian history, culture, and food (in theory and especially in practice=). I'd strongly recommend to see La Cala, Castello Zisa and Orto Botanico (all in Palermo), as well as Cefalù and Monreale (both in the Province of Palermo).

No tuve ningun problema. Lo único es que si quieres salir de noche los autobuses dejan de pasar algo temprano y la zona esta muy sola y lejos de los lugares para salir. No es muy buena la zona pero ni caminando de día o noche mi amiga y yo tuvimos algun problema.
