It was my first volunteering experience and I'm glad it was at the hostel. I spent a good time here, I grew a lot as a person, I learn new things, met amazing people and had a lot of fun. The hostel is very cool and has a very cosy space. We volunteers are responsible for making the breakfasts, cleaning and tidying all the rooms and bathrooms, and bartending and closing the bar at night. For the work we do, I think the volunteers deserve a better quality meal. It was a bit difficult for me because I have some intolerances and I'm not used to eating sandwiches for lunch. Thank you the hostel❤️

It was such a great experience volunteering in this hostel, thank you Bas for accepting my application, Koen and Marion you guys are lovely I had a fun time with y'all and count on me next year because I'm coming back!! I made such a great friends here besides the staff, I also got to make friends from all over the world which it was something I was looking forward!!! See u soon guyyyyssss

My time in the hostel has been such a good one. This has been the experience of my lifetime, I met really good friends for life, experience the Dutch life, had so much fun, learn many new incredible things and made many memories that will always make me feel good and grateful about coming to the Netherlands. I would have Never imagined that this experience could change and better my life forever but now I'm the happiest person knowing that every second here was worthy and help me to grow as a person. Thanks the hostel family for opening your heart to this Colombian guy ❤️

I had a wonderful experience at the hostel, the team was very welcoming from the start and fulfilled everything we agreed on. We all notice how much Marion and Koen love what they do; they pay attention to every detail and they make you feel the importance of making the hostel the best place to stay. Besides this, they organize activities for volunteers, and on this occasion we went to an adventure space with canopy and the best vibe you can imagine!! This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I really couldn't imagine a better one. I HAVE TO COME BACK! Thanks to all the team!!

I definitely found the perfect place for my first volunteering! I have no words to describe how amazing it was... The hostel, the staff and the volunteers, all of them are really nice and friendly! I felt at home since the first day, and Koen and Marion always treated us like part of the family... So if you want a place to feel good, play pool (Bas is the best teacher, if you need), and make a lot of friends, you must apply for the hostel! I'm gonna miss you all guys and next year I'll be back, at least for one weekend, I promise!

It was my first volunteering experience with Worldpackers and I should say it was life changing! For this 2 month we became a big family with staff members and other volunteers. It was really fun, I felt welcomed with each member of the team, all of them are very nice people Thanks the hostel team for the time we've spent together! Highly recommend stay with the hostel!

You came in a busy period for us where we also had a smaller team. And you helped us get through this period!

We understand that the amount of cleaning shifts was not nice, sadly for us there was no other option at this time and we hope in the future this won't happen again!

The hostel was my home for two months and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! It's great and right next to the center and train station, so the location is on point. The whole staff and owners are awesome people, they're very caring, communicative, fun, and always there for you if you need them. I felt super welcomed and cannot put into words how much I'll miss them! Also, the team of volunteers (aka the dreamteam) IS AMAZING and we got along really well The schedule is very flexible and you have a lot of free time Such a great experience! Thank you peeps for everything :)
