The location of the farm is convenient to explore nearby. It's also located not far to Busan (you can take a bus and the subway). The lunch is delicious and the dinner is up to you. Sam plans an activity per week with the volunteers, sometimes go to a place or sometimes dinner together. My favourite activity was farming, because Sam taught me about strawberries. However, the activities (English camps) with the kids and families were amazing, as well. It was fun and recreational. There are more volunteers, so you can meet new people and make friends.

White and black mold everywhere, on every wall and ceiling, multiple bedrooms with leaks from the ceiling. While the food that clouds mom cooks is head over heels amazing, the living situation is shocking. I stayed my whole month because I feel guilty about bailing on projects but I would never recommend to a friend. In addition, his communication/leadership style is chaotic, stressful, and insulting. He makes simple things stressful and lacks managerial organization. He's constantly running around and yelling how we are doing things wrong but then if we wait for instructions he's annoyed.

I’m sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. I’ve been running volunteer-based programs and always try to provide guidance. Our programs vary each week, so I give instructions specific to the day. Sometimes, when I was just about to explain, you interrupted with questions, which made it harder to communicate smoothly.it is timing. I hope future volunteers approach with a mindset of helping, not pride,so we can all create meaningful memories together. I’ll continue working hard for it

The work is light, around 3–4 hours a day, giving lots of free time. Tasks include farm work or helping kids with English, which I enjoyed. Sam (host) also organizes fun activities like karaoke and Korean BBQ, and we made great memories with other volunteers. Unfortunately, I gave only 3 stars because we had to leave after a week due to poor accommodation conditions that impacted our health. Molding, roof cracks, water leaking and cockroaches were present in the bedrooms. I really hope this feedback will be used to improve the current conditions. Volunteers deserve better.

Sam is a friendly host committed to his work. The tasks are as described and the hours are good. If you like working with kids, it'll be easy. Lunch was always great, and Sam took us to bbq and karaoke. We had a lot of fun with the other volunteers. However, we left after one week due to the bad state of the volunteer accommodation. In particular, there's black mold and cockroaches present in the bedrooms and the bathrooms. I hope this feedback is used to put effort into improving the accommodation.

I had a lovely time at Cloudberry! Met a lot of nice people, enjoyed the good food from Mama, and had lots of fun working at the farm and exploring Gimhae and Busan. Sam and Sophia were very nice, and good at recommending places to visit, as well as taking us on trips. Enjoyed my stay!

Thank you so much for your quiet strength and warm presence during your time at Cloudberry. You approached every task with calm focus and responsibility, and it was so easy to trust and rely on you. You also brought such a gentle and kind energy to the team—always getting along well with others and creating a peaceful atmosphere. It was a joy having you with us, and we’re truly grateful for all that you contributed. Wishing you the very best in everything .

We had a great time thanks to Sam and the other volunteers ! Seven of us were sharing the Happy House (as a couple you will not necessarily share a room as it depends on the number of male and female volunteers), the facilities are simple but good and despite what other comments might say you do have hot water. Common area are heated as well as the rooms at night. We would work five days a week, with two days off. Usually farm work during the week and cooking classes with the families on weekends. Sam would take us on day trip as well which is really fun ! Thank you so much, all the best !🩷

Hey~ Emma

I really appreciate your children's passion for education. It is really impressive that when the community center students come every time, you keep trying to take care them and help them even if their speaking English is not so good . You will be a good teacher who is welcome whereever you go. I hope you travel safely and have more good volunteer experience. take care ~

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I would 100% recommend it to anyone! This place has so much to offer. I met so many amazing people and had so much fun every single day. The Korean food cooked by Mama daily was absolutely delicious and work couldn't have been more delightful with the adorable kids! The real cherry on top however was really Sam who really went out of his way to care for each of us. Thank you so much Cloudberry!

I really enjoyed the time in Cloudberry, they provided great food and a nice room. And the host, Sam, tried really hard to make the whole experience more memorable by providing cultural events, taking us out on day trips, buying us dinner sometimes and etc. Sam is a great host who is responsible and helpful, he could be stressful sometimes at work when it is really busy, but he has a really warm heart for all volunteers. I highly recommended this place who wants to be away from big cities and who loves kids.

Hi ~ Yining ^^

At first, I was impressive that you know a lot of Korean. And it was good that you know a lot of Korean culture. When you work or eat, you explained well to other volunteers.

You wanted to experience many famous Korean foods, but it's a shame that we only went there a few times.

I am Korean food Chat GPT. hahaha. If you visit again next time, I hope you make a food list and experience it a lot

thank you

I had an unforgettable time at the Cloudberry farm and Sam is an amazing host. The work is not too hard and quite diverse. What I liked the most about Sam, is that he took us quite often to afternoon trips, dinner together or local festivals. This way I was able to get to know Korean culture in a different way. Thank you Sam:)

I enjoyed the most when we had a farm party together. You really made the mood of the farm party good and tried to make many people dance and enjoy drinking together.
So I think you are a person who creates a really good atmosphere.
I appreciate working very meticulously when we work.
you hurt your thumb toe when we played soccer together last time.
Are you all better now?

I hope you can travel safely and have fun. I heard you are in busan ~
come over to play soccer again soon ~

thank you
