The experience

Join us this August–September at Cloudberry Farm for a meaningful mix of farming, cultural exchange, and youth mentoring. Help with a local water festival (Aug 15–17), support outdoor student camps, and mentor Korean high school students preparing to study in Europe. What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Program Details

This August and September, join our Cloudberry Korea Experience Program in Doyo Village—a unique opportunity to combine youth education, farming, and cultural exchange.

Volunteers will support a range of meaningful activities:

Assist with our Summer Water Festival (Aug 15–17) for local children and families

Lead outdoor student programs and cultural exchange camps

Mentor Korean high school students preparing to study in Europe, helping them improve English and learn global skills

Share knowledge on culture, leadership, and entrepreneurship

Join farm work including soil preparation and strawberry seedling planting

This program is perfect for those who love working with students, enjoy being outdoors, and want to experience authentic Korean rural life.
You’ll not only teach, but also learn, grow, and become part of a vibrant local community.



Activities & Shift

🕒 Activities & Shifts
We will provide a weekly schedule so you can manage your work, personal time, and travel plans easily. Volunteers will typically have 2 days off per week, allowing you to explore Korea on your own if you wish.

In addition to your volunteer duties, we organize regular cultural trips and group activities so you can enjoy Korean life to the fullest. These may include:

A 1-night, 2-day getaway to the Doyo Village Pension in August

A fun valley water play day at Jangyu Valley

A beach day trip to Haeundae, one of Korea’s most famous beaches

Temple visits, mountain hiking, and walking across scenic suspension bridges

A special day trip to the Chungcheong province planned for late August

Weekly group dinner nights where we cook, eat, and share stories together

All these experiences are designed to help you bond with fellow volunteers, immerse yourself in Korean culture, and create unforgettable memories during your stay.

We seek someone who is respectful and is open minded to learn about Korean cultures and able to interact with people of all levels and is compassionate and sincere in wanting to assist Korean young students to improve their courage in speaking English.
